Aphothec is a place for pharmacy services especially for pharmacist who dedicates his competency in the community. The policy no pharmacist no service is a strategic policy that has to be supported by all members of Indonesian Pharmacist Association. Objectives. To determine the prevalence of adverse drug reaction related hospital ad-missions in geriatric patients, to describe the most frequent clinical manifestations and the drugs responsible to adverse drug reaction related hospital admissions. Design. Observational cross-sectional study. Methods. Naranjo algorithm used to assess the adverse drug reaction causality. Subjects and setting. Geriatric patients admitted to geriatric inpatient installation of Cipto Mangunkusumo general hospital over one month period and assessed for cause of admissions. Results. 14,7% of 102 admissions were identified to be adverse drug reaction related hospital admissions. One adverse drug reaction was categorized as definite and 14 were probable …

Methods And Apparatus For Preventing A Third Party From Overhearing A Telephone Conversation, Thaddeus Gabara, Vladimir I. Prodanov

Methods and apparatus are provided for preventing a third party from listening to a conversation between at least two participants on a telephone. The telephone generates an audio stimulus signal that is presented through a secondary speaker. The audio stimulus signal may be, for example, pseudorandom noise or a cancellation signal. According to one aspect of the invention, the telephone ensures that the audio stimulus signal does not significantly impair the conversation for the at least two participants. To prevent the third party from listening to the local portion of the conversation, the audio stimulus signal is subtracted from the …

Late Neandertals In Southeastern Iberia: Sima De Las Palomas Del Cabezo Gordo, Murcia, Spain, Michael J. Walker, Josep Gibert, Mariano V. López

Middle Paleolithic fossil human remains from the Sima de las Palomas in southeastern Iberia (dated to ≤43,000–40,000 calendar years before present) present a suite of derived Neandertal and/or retained ancestral morphological features in the mandibular symphysis, mandibular ramus, dental occlusal morphology, and distal hand phalanx. These traits are combined with variation in the mandibular corpus, discrete dental morphology, tooth root lengths, and anterior dental size that indicate a frequency difference with earlier Iberian and more northern European Neandertals. The Palomas Neandertals therefore confirm the late presence of Neandertals associated with the Iberian persistence of the Middle Paleolithic, but suggest microevolutionary …

A best proximity pair for a set-valued map F : A -○ B with respect to a set-valued map G : A -○ A is defined, and a new existence theorem of best proximity pairs for continuous set-valued maps is proved in nonexpansive retract metric spaces. Circadian rhythms, endogenously generated by the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN), can be synchronized to a variety of photic and non-photic environmental stimuli. Neuropeptide Y (NPY) is produced in the intergeniculate leaflet (IGL) and known to mediate both photic and non-photic influences on the SCN. We recently found that npy-/- mice were slower to shift their locomotor activity onset to the new time of light offset when photoperiod was abruptly changed from light/dark (LD) cycle 18:6 to LD 6:18. Topological Structures In The Equities Market Network, Gregory Leibon, Scott Pauls, Daniel Rockmore, Robert Savell

We present a new method for articulating scale-dependent topological descriptions of the network structure inherent in many complex systems. The technique is based on “partition decoupled null models,” a new class of null models that incorporate the interaction of clustered partitions into a random model and generalize the Gaussian ensemble. As an application, we analyze a correlation matrix derived from 4 years of close prices of equities in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotation (NASDAQ).
