Economic Sociology As A Sociology Of Economic Action, Krzysztof T. Konecki
Economic Sociology As A Sociology Of Economic Action, Krzysztof T. Konecki
European Management Studies
The paper deals with the construction of basic principles of theoretical model of analysis of economy from the perspective of interpretative sociology. Author tries to build a model of economic action taking into consideration the point of view of a subject and going beyond mere rational model of action. An economic action is strictly associated with a context of action and is constructed on the level of interaction. Latino Inter-Ethnic Discrimination And The "Diversity Defense", Tanya K. Hernandez
Rutgers Law School (Newark) Faculty Papers
With the growing racial and ethnic diversity of the U.S. population and workforce, scholars have begun to address the ways in which coalition building across groups will continue to be necessary but will become even more complex. The growing scholarship has focused on analyzing how best to promote effective coalition building. Clients' Expectations Of Public Health Nurses' Home Visits, Eva G. Miller Dnsc, Ms, Rn, Phn
Dissertations
Although there is considerable research on the relationship between client expectations and outcomes of care in acute care settings, less is known about clients' expectations for public health nurses' home visits. The aim of this study was to understand clients' expectations of public health nurses' home visits as a first step in making explicit how expectations affect client responses to, and ultimately, outcomes of public health nurses' care. Interviews were conducted with a convenience sample of 19 primary caretakers of high-risk infants admitted to a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and voluntarily enrolled in a High-Risk Infant (HRI) Program in …
