The stronger relationship between modern medicine and economical aspects, the improvement of health care with limited materials and financial means make economical analysis more important on free market. In the paper an attempt has been made to show in-depth study of the essence of public management science. It is claimed to provide for a comprehensive new framework for approaching individual public organisations on all levels of managing public affairs. This new discipline has opened new perspectives for the development of the public sector. Indulge me for a few moments, will you? I write this column just as we approach the Thanksgiving. You will read it having spent the last few weeks recovering from the Christmas Holidays. It seems appropriate at this time, even conventional, to spend a few moments looking at what we all have to be thankful for, even joyous about. All too often the quotidian cares of life weigh us down unceremoniously, and we forget that we have much to be thankful for.

Laminar Film Condensation On A Horizontal Plate In A Porous Medium With Surface Tension Effects, Tong-Bou Chang
Journal of Marine Science and Technology–Taiwan
The problem of steady filmwise condensation on a finite-size horizontal plate embedded in a porous medium is studied for the case in which a cold plate faces upwards with a dry saturation vapor. Due to the effects of surface tension forces, there is a two-phase zone lying between the liquid film and the vapor zone. As in classical filmwise condensation problems, it is assumed that; (a) the inertia within the liquid film is negligible, and (b) the properties of porous medium, dry vapor, and condensate are constant. Exploring Disability And Poverty In Nepal: An Application Of The Capability Approach, Patricia Welch Saleeby
Retrospective Theses and Dissertations
The primary purpose of this dissertation is to examine the relationships between disability and poverty in Nepal. Linkages between disability, poverty, and deprivation are explored to develop an in-depth understanding of these relationships, to recommend strategies for intervention, and ultimately to improve the situations of individuals and their families experiencing disability and poverty. Since traditional poverty measures such as income and consumption do not fully capture the multi-dimensional construct of poverty, a capability approach was used to further an understanding of the relationships between disability and deprivation at individual and household levels and to address three research questions.
