Using South Dakota Grown Field Peas In Swine Diets, Bob Thaler, Hans Stein
SDSU Extension Extra Archives
Due to changes in crop rotations, field peas are now more commonly grown in central South Dakota. Depending on variety, they can either be sold for human consumption or fed directly to livestock. Beef producers can bale the entire plant and feed it as a forage to ruminants, and swine producers can use the seed as a protein and energy source.

Trust, Collaboration, And Financial Return In Conservation/Development Partnerships, New England Environmental Finance Center
Trust, Collaboration, And Financial Return In Conservation/Development Partnerships, New England Environmental Finance Center
Economics and Finance
In early 2002 the New England Environmental Finance Center hosted a series of roundtable discussions among municipal officials, residential developers, land trust representatives, and others about "Innovative Approaches to Land Conservation and Smart Growth". Among our observations was that for many of the over 20 conservation/development partnerships we discussed in the series, creation and maintenance of trust was central to success or failure of various stages of the partnership. A History Of The Montgomery County Public Library, Jonathan Jeffrey
A History Of The Montgomery County Public Library, Jonathan Jeffrey
SCL Faculty and Staff Publications
A history of library services in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, the county seat of Montgomery County. Articles traces the history of the early library movement in Mt. Sterling and the eventual establishment of a subscription library, the Mt. Sterling Library Association. This organization was eventually managed by the Mt. Sterling Woman’s Club. Mary T. Kennedy donated her home for the library’s use upon her death; it served as the library from 1962 to 1984. A library taxing district was established in 1981 to fund the library, and new library building opened to the public in 1984.
