An Approach To Branding Services, Y L R Moorthi

This paper provides an approach for branding a service. The approach integrates David Aaker's Brand Identity framework, with the IPs of services marketing and the economic classification of goods. The 7Ps of services are product\ price, place, promotion, physical evidence, process and people. The economic classification divides goods into search, experience and credence goods. In general products have more search properties and services have more experience and credence properties. The paper argues that the key to branding search, experience and credence goods is, giving the customer information, delight and education respectively.

The articles and commentaries in this Symposium are excellent points of departure for reflecting upon the advances thus far achieved in the evolution of this still very young community of scholars. The articles and commentaries that follow this brief Introduction comprise the second "free-standing" law review Symposium on LatCrit theory organized specifically in response to student interests and initiatives. The timing is fitting, for this Symposium also coincides with the fifth anniversary of LatCrit theory's emergence in the American legal academy. Gerontology Institute Publications

The Massachusetts Jobs Council, the Governor’s principal advisory board on workforce development, established the Blue Ribbon Commission on Older Workers in 1997 to analyze the labor market for older workers in the Commonwealth and to recommend policies to improve the economic status of the older labor force. The Commission held numerous hearings, town meetings, and focus groups to solicit the views of older workers, employers, labor organizations, and training professionals, and it reviewed the findings of extensive research on older workers in Massachusetts.

Competition, Cooperation Or Cartel: A National Law School Accreditation Process For Canada?, Alvin Esau

Dalhousie Law Journal

Law schools in Canada are engaged in increased competition with one another and significant disparities in resources and reputations have developed. The author argues that this competitive context may be a threat to the maintenance in some schools of the broader mission of the law school to teach and produce contextual and critical perspectives on law. It is suggested that Canadian law schools should cooperate with each other and that various initiatives could be taken which would help all schools. Beyond cooperation on specific projects, the authorraises the question of whetherlawschools should set up theirown national accreditation scheme. He suggests …

An Examination Of A Brownfield: The Former North Las Vegas Armory Site, Rebecca L. Fowler

UNLV Theses, Dissertations, Professional Papers, and Capstones

This thesis is a case study of the redevelopment project of the former Armory site in Las Vegas, Nevada, a United States Environmental Protection Agency Brownfield Pilot Project. This investigation uses benefit-cost analysis to determine whether the project is economically feasible. This examination includes a description of the Brownfield program, a description of the site, selection criteria, and the proposed future use of it. The results show that the benefits exceed the costs.

Urban Growth Projections For Albuquerque_1999-2010, University Of New Mexico Bureau Of Business And Economic Research

This report projects population, employment, and housing growth for Albuquerque's Planning Information Areas (PIAs) and Community Planning Areas (CPAs) through 2010. Using demographic, economic, and housing market data, the study analyzes growth patterns across the metropolitan area and forecasts continued expansion on Albuquerque's West Side and in Rio Rancho, alongside slower growth or population stagnation in many established eastern neighborhoods.
