An Exegesis Of The Sign-Act Narrative Of Zechariah 11:4-17 And Its Theological And Pastoral Implications, Robert Foster
An Exegesis Of The Sign-Act Narrative Of Zechariah 11:4-17 And Its Theological And Pastoral Implications, Robert Foster
Electronic Theses and Dissertations
This thesis is a study of the narrative sign-act in Zechariah 11 :4-17. Historical critical methods are employed to determine the date, setting and speaker of this narrative. Form, narrative and historical criticism are used to perform an exegesis of this passage. In the end, what may be loosely termed a "biblical theology" approach is undertaken to address the theological and pastoral implications of this passage.

Assessment Of A Space Shuttle Trajectory Evaluation System (Dolilu Ii), Diwakar Chakravarthy
Graduate Theses, Dissertations, and Problem Reports (ETD)
DOLILU II is a ground control system that generates space shuttle's launch trajectories, first stage guidance commands and verifies whether the generated trajectories are safe for the flight. It is a safety critical system and a high degree of confidence in its safety and reliability must be gained through assessment. We addressed three issues related to its safety and reliability assessment. We developed a reliability assessment framework for DOLILU II system. We proposed techniques to speed up test case execution and designed methodologies for the generation of input conditions needed to test the system.;We used a Bayesian statistical framework for …

Division On Campus Over Athletics, Richard C. Crepeau
On Sport and Society
How many out there remember the name Jan Kemp? Or Linda Benzel Myers? My guess is that more people are likely to remember the name Murray Sperber? All three have several things in common. They publicly criticized the athletic programs at their universities, and as a result became unwelcome members of their university community and were subjected to harassment. All paid a high price for their insistence on academic integrity and standards.

This photo essay provides an overview of the history of the Angel Moroni statues, beginning with the angel atop the Nauvoo Temple and continuing through to designs used on the Salt Lake Temple, the Washington D.C. Chapel, the Los Angeles California Temple, the Washington D.C. Temple, and other temples built through 2000. Angel Moroni statues have come to symbolize for Latter-day Saints the restoration of the gospel in the latter days. For Mormons, the Moroni statues herald the gospel being preached “to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people” (Rev. 14:6). “I Saw Another Angel Fly” discusses …
Fuel Saving Strategies For Separated Spacecraft Interferometry, Timothy Mclain, Randal W. Beard, Christopher A. Bailey
Fuel Saving Strategies For Separated Spacecraft Interferometry, Timothy Mclain, Randal W. Beard, Christopher A. Bailey
Faculty Publications
Separated spacecraft interferometry missions will require spacecraft to move in a coordinated fashion to ensure minimal and balanced consumption of fuel. This paper develops strategies for determining interferometry mission plans that result in significant fuel savings over standard approaches. Simulation results demonstrate that valuable reductions in fuel consumption can be realized by combining the retargeting and imaging maneuvers required to image multiple stellar sources. Fuel-optimal imaging strategies have been developed for two-spacecraft interferometry missions similar to the proposed Space Technology 3 mission using chained local optimization methods. Based on these strategies, sampling pattern guidelines for space-borne interferometry missions have been …
Electronic Commerce Strategy – Looking Through The Lenses Of An Innovation Strategy Model, A. Fruhling, Keng Siau
Electronic Commerce Strategy – Looking Through The Lenses Of An Innovation Strategy Model, A. Fruhling, Keng Siau
Research Collection School Of Computing and Information Systems
The world is in the midst of a revolution in the way businesses perform commerce. Many industries who were in the past relatively low tech are now finding themselves in a situation where they must embrace technology and prepare to compete head-on using ECommerce. This paradigm shift in thinking and competition is creating opportunities and chaos. This paper examines the innovation capability of organizations in evaluating and deploying their E-Commerce strategies. An Innovation Strategy Model is used in this research as the theoretical foundation. The case study and survey research methodologies were selected. Data gathering and analysis are in progress. …
A Meta-Analysis On Relationship Modeling Accuracy: Comparing Relational And Semantic Models, Qing Cao, Fiona Fui-Hoon Nah, Keng Siau
A Meta-Analysis On Relationship Modeling Accuracy: Comparing Relational And Semantic Models, Qing Cao, Fiona Fui-Hoon Nah, Keng Siau
Research Collection School Of Computing and Information Systems
Semantic data modeling, such as entity-relationship (ER) modeling and extended/enhanced entity-relationship (EER) modeling, has emerged as an alternative to relational data modeling. The majority of research in data modeling suggests that the use of semantic data models leads to better performance. However the findings are not conclusive and sometimes inconsistent. In this research, we investigate modeling relationship correctness in relational and semantic models. The meta-analysis carried out in this research is an attempt to alleviate inconsistent results in previous studies.
Internet Marketing – Marketers’ Perception Of Ethical Issues, L.. Najjar, Keng Siau
Internet Marketing – Marketers’ Perception Of Ethical Issues, L.. Najjar, Keng Siau
Research Collection School Of Computing and Information Systems
Many businesses have been attracted to marketing on the Internet, but little attention has been given to the potential ethical issues regarding Internet marketing. Although some ethical behavior models have been proposed, relatively few have been empirically validated. This study's main objective is to assess the perception of ethical issues on Internet marketing among a sample of 150 marketing executives from a Midwest business community. Results and recommendations regarding ethical issues related to Internet marketing are discussed.
The Relationship Of Small Mammal Species To Habitat Variables In West-Central Georgia And East-Central Alabama, Patricia Maureen Kosky
The Relationship Of Small Mammal Species To Habitat Variables In West-Central Georgia And East-Central Alabama, Patricia Maureen Kosky
Theses and Dissertations
The objective of this investigation was to assess the impact of environmental variables upon small mammal species distribution in 60 plots on Fort Benning, Muscogee and Chattahoochee Counties, Georgia and Russell County, Alabama. The small mammal fieldwork was carried out in December of 1994 through January of 1995. The vegetation was inventoried in June through October of 1995. During this period, 235 small mammals were trapped in a total of 5950 trap nights. A total of 10 small mammal species and 234 plant species were identified. The small mammal species abundance's were determined by using snap trapping along the plot …
Where Time And Eternity Meet: The Yearning For Transcendence In The Fiction Of Joyce Carol Oates., John Donnelly Jr.
Where Time And Eternity Meet: The Yearning For Transcendence In The Fiction Of Joyce Carol Oates., John Donnelly Jr.
Student Work
In writing about the psychological states of Americans and the society that they encounter, Joyce Carol Oates repeatedly finds herself depicting the failure (or marginal success) encountered when humanity confronts a chaotic and indifferent world. Early in her career, Oates stated that she hoped to find way of transcending this bleak predicament.
