Raf Wings Over Florida: Memories Of World War Ii British Air Cadets, Willard Largent
Raf Wings Over Florida: Memories Of World War Ii British Air Cadets, Willard Largent
Purdue University Press Books
In the early 1940s, prior to the United States' entry into World War II, through the joint efforts of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Prime Minister Winston Churchill, British soldiers were sent to the United States for flight training. This collection gives first-person accounts of the men who learned the art of flying in a place far from their homeland, Florida. The stories provide a wonderful contrast between the two cultures and are told in the voices of British cadets, American cadets who trained with them, instructors, and other individuals who welcomed the British cadets into their homes and lives.

Nebraska Network 21: Publications
What started as two initiatives involving public and private entities in Nebraska has resulted in the development of the Governor’s Task Force on Agriculture and Natural Resources Education. Both initiatives were funded by grants from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation of Battle Creek, Michigan. One went to The Reinventing Agriculture Education for the Year 2020 Project which was coordinated by the Nebraska Department of Education. The other went to the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to establish the Nebraska Network21 (NN21), a group of people working together to creatively meet the learning needs of …

The Voice: 1991-2000
This edition of the Wooster Voice, published on September 14 of 2000, is twelve pages long. In Lowry on Monday evening, the "Town Meeting on Race" was held. The Love is Ageless program president Kat Randall is concerned that the small houses are being treated as though they are trained RA's by getting end of the year evaluations without the prior training. The second forum will be on Tuesday evening …
