The Frat was the official member publication of the National Fraternal Society of the Deaf (NFSD). First established in 1902, the publication ran for just over a century, until its closure in 2006.---NFSD was an insurance business established in 1901. Its purposes were to provide insurance to mainly Deaf members, to serve as an advocate for the Deaf, and to provide community service and recreational opportunities through divisional activities. The existing insurance coverage was transferred to the Catholic Order of Foresters in 2005. The NFSD disbanded in 2007.---The Frat's main purpose was to keep members apprised of the activities of …

A Study Guide To Mark's Gospel: Discovering Mark's Message For His Day And Ours, Scott Gambrill Sinclair

A section-by-section guide to the study of Mark's Gospel, intended primarily for lay people who want a very brief introduction to the gospel that will highlight its essential message and can be used for individual or group reflection. It coincides with year B lectionary Gospel readings.

Sinclair's work concentrates on discovering what Mark was saying to the Christian readers of his own time. He also provides a new translation of the Gospel which will help readers experience the sometimes all too familiar material in a fresh way.

In order to understand, protect, and manage our water resources effectively knowledge is required from many diverse areas of science, engineering, economics, and sociology.
