Purpose of the Study: The purpose of the study was to collect and arrange information leading to a compiled history that would accurately record the life and professional contributions of Dr. John M. Strahl to physical education and athletics at Greenville College. Another intent of the thesis was to bring into focus the significant effect of one man on an institution of higher education, a national organization, and numerous students and colleagues.

In the study, "Marshalltown Library Service; A History of the First Fifty Years, 1860-1910," the researcher traced Marshalltown's library service provided during three time spans. This is an artificial collection of materials purchased or found by James Jeffrey behind a wall panel in a Huntington, WV apartment. The series of letters was found behind said wall panel and the financial ledger was purchased from Lilley’s Bookshop in Parkersburg, WV.

The letters are broken down as follows:

“Ima Turdlet (?)” to “The Right Hon. Mr. E. C. Hatfield Esq”, undated. This is a scathing seven-page letter regarding the breakup or divorce of the writer’s relationship with Hatfield.

Two years ago this review published an article which reviewed search and seizure law in Alaska. Because the local barand bench seem to have found that article to be useful, it appeared worthwhile to put together a similar review of the remainder of Alaska's law of criminal procedure. Like its predecessor, this article will review and analyze the law of criminal procedure in Alaska, isolating those areas in which the Alaska Legislature or the Alaska Supreme Court has departed from the prevailing approach to procedure in criminal cases and predicting probable outcomes to procedural issues still unresolved in Alaska.
