Almost all of Edwin Arlington Robinson's poetry is divided metrically, into three types: blank verse, sonnets, and quatrains. The metrical analysis that follows is based on his blank verse. The real intent is to compare the earlier blank verses with the later, to analyze the relation between subject matter and form, and to note in general, the sources from which he gleaned his figures of speech. The following analysis is based on a study of some 13,000 lines of his blank verse.

From the Very beginning of time, music has had an unusual emotional power, and probably because of this reason, it has always been connected with religion. According to one author, sacred music may be divided historically, as follows: (1) Jewish Music, (2) Music of the Primitive Church, (3) Medieval Church Music, (4) Post-Reformation Music, and (5) Modern Church. Each of these divisions may be subdivided; and, in considering the various types which may be found in each, one may see how the conception of sacred music has changed in accordance with the changing views concerning religion.

There are two distinct parts to analytic geometry, the analytic work and the geometric interpretation. The folk-tale is one of the most fascinating forms of folk-lore that can be studied. When a good story is told in the family circle (in many cases the entire village is one large family) or in a gathering of friends, the question: "Where did you read that?" never arises. Iron And Cobalt Salts As Catalysts In The Oxidation Of Sodium Sulfite By Free Oxygen, Loren C. Bryner

The present investigation was carried out to show the catalytic effect of some iron and cobalt salts on the oxidation of sodium sulfite solutions by free oxygen. The rate of reaction was determined by measuring the volume of water required to replace the absorbed oxygen. A photograph and diagrammatical arrangement of the apparatus is given, (Page 14). From the preliminary experiments it was found that the rate of oxidation of sodium sulfite solutions is dependent upon concentration, and speed of the shaker.
