It is here that one finds problems in curricula and procedures that he would probably never dream of during his theoretical training.

There one would be asked to teach many subjects other than the one he has chosen in his major field. This should not prove to be a hardship but a blessing in that one would have develop initiative and in many other ways round out his personality. …

The inhabitants of the newly discovered North American continent were of great interest to contemporary Europeans. What manner of creatures lived in this new land? Were they monsters? Were they men? A few Indians were brought back to Europe by Columbus, by Cartier, and by Smith, but these were seen by a limited number of the populace. The widespread impressions of the natives came, therefore, from the early writings, the chronicles, the reports, and the letters of the explorers and the first settlers. It is the purpose of this study to discuss completely the median of a frequency distribution: first, by showing clearly what a median is; second, by showing the present and possible future applications for the median in the field of mathematical statistics; third, by taking all methods for interpolating for the median which have been advocated in the literature, or which may not have been advocated to date but appear plausible, and discuss these methods as to the way they are used, the plausibility of their use, and the accuracy obtained by their use.

It is the purpose of this study to determine whether a need for safety education exists in New Mexico. In order to determine this need two types of information have been secured: first, that pertaining to the kinds of safety measures that have been instituted in the state down to the present time; second, the numbers of accidents, deaths, and injuries. These last have been arranged into types of causes in order to show and to determine if possible what steps might be taken to reduce this number.

A total of three weeks was taken to complete the required work.
