Handling Delayed Esim Transfer Via Sm-Ds Push Notification, Chen Xu, Jack Yu, Amruth Ramachandran Aug 2026

Handling Delayed Esim Transfer Via Sm-Ds Push Notification, Chen Xu, Jack Yu, Amruth Ramachandran

Defensive Publications Series

This publication describes an alternative framework for managing delayed embedded Subscriber Identity Module (eSIM) transfers on mobile devices that avoids needing a carrier’s Entitlement Configuration Server (ECS) to manage cloud messaging tokens. During a delayed transfer, a carrier’s Subscription Management Data Preparation (SM-DP+) server notifies a Subscription Management Discovery Service (SM-DS) server when an eSIM profile becomes available. The SM-DS server then triggers a cloud messaging push notification to the mobile device’s Local Profile Assistant (LPA). To ensure a seamless user experience the LPA hides the raw push notification from the user interface. Upon receiving this hidden push notification, the …

Zero-Enrollment Target Speaker Extraction, Zhi Li, Xuelin Huang Aug 2026

Zero-Enrollment Target Speaker Extraction, Zhi Li, Xuelin Huang

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure describes a new framework for isolating a specific person's voice from background noise, often called Target Speaker Extraction (TSE), speech isolation, voice separation, audio unmixing, voice filtering,  target audio filtering, speaker segregation, acoustic filtering, vocal isolation, target voice retrieval, or speech decoupling for devices equipped with artificial intelligence. Traditional voice recognition systems require users to manually record their voice in a quiet room, which is frustrating and often fails to recognize natural changes in a person's voice like sickness or morning voice. Rather than requiring the user to perform this manual process, the new framework described herein enables …

Execution-Mode-Dependent Enforcement Of Version-Bound Consent For Delegated Recurring Automation, Alexander Bering Aug 2026

Execution-Mode-Dependent Enforcement Of Version-Bound Consent For Delegated Recurring Automation, Alexander Bering

Defensive Publications Series

Disclosed is a species-level arrangement in which one participant's consent to run another participant's shared, versioned automation artefact is bound to the artefact version consented to, and in which the strength with which that binding is enforced depends on how the run was initiated. For machine-initiated recurring runs, the executing component re-checks the recorded version mark itself, unconditionally, before every run; a mismatch does not fail the individual run but moves the standing arrangement into a durable, named parked state in which it never fires again until a human acts. For human-initiated runs, the same mismatch is surfaced only against …

A Method For Multi-Modal Tensor Distillation And Non-Perturbative Phase Retrieval Inside Decentralized Anamorphic Substrates, Christopher L. Eckes Aug 2026

A Method For Multi-Modal Tensor Distillation And Non-Perturbative Phase Retrieval Inside Decentralized Anamorphic Substrates, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

When decentralized edge agents implement Continuous Online Local Plasticity via an Anamorphic Memory Lattice (AML), the local elastic weight layer (\(\Phi _{t}\)) experiences rapid structural saturation under high-velocity multi-modal data streams. This saturation triggers localized impedance mismatches, where the model can no longer distinguish between environmental noise and high-fidelity operational tool telemetry, degrading the system back into an chaotic, ungrounded state.

This paper introduces a standalone technical method for Multi-Modal Tensor Distillation and Non-Perturbative Phase Retrieval inside decentralized anamorphic substrates. By implementing a phase-locked spatial-harmonic filter directly over the elastic parameter layer, this framework allows the model to continuously compress …

A Method For Continuous Local Plasticity And Catastrophic Forgetting Mitigation Via Anamorphic Memory Lattices And Dynamic Weight Partitioning, Christopher L. Eckes Aug 2026

A Method For Continuous Local Plasticity And Catastrophic Forgetting Mitigation Via Anamorphic Memory Lattices And Dynamic Weight Partitioning, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

Current autoregressive transformer scaling laws dictate that foundation model weights must remain static post-training to prevent catastrophic forgetting and alignment drift. Consequently, modern edge agents are restricted to volatile, stateless context manipulations (e.g., Retrieval-Augmented Generation), erasing environmental experiences at every context flush and halting true progression toward decentralized Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).

This paper introduces an architectural blueprint for Continuous Online Local Plasticity utilizing an Anamorphic Memory Lattice (AML) paired with Dynamic Weight Partitioning (DWP). By structurally separating a model's network topology into a frozen global baseline core (\(W_{\text{global}}\)) and an elastic, orthogonal local substrate (\(W_{\text{local}}\)), decentralized agents can permanently …

A Method For Algorithmic Entropy Mitigation And Context Window Equilibrium In High-Dimensional Transformer Architectures, Christopher L. Eckes Aug 2026

A Method For Algorithmic Entropy Mitigation And Context Window Equilibrium In High-Dimensional Transformer Architectures, Christopher L. Eckes

Defensive Publications Series

High-dimensional Autoregressive Transformer architectures scale linearly or quadratically in computational, thermodynamic, and financial overhead relative to context window saturation. In continuous multi-turn token processing, models suffer from "Prompt Gravity"—a compounding mathematical distortion of the Softmax attention matrix driven by localized token accumulation. This distortion shifts in-context token weights, resulting in structural degradation, diminished operational return on investment (ROI), and severe "sandbox sycophancy" where factual grounding collapses into localized linguistic coherence.

This paper introduces a decentralized, low-entropy architecture designed to decouple structural grounding from active token processing. By utilizing localized, high-entropy open-weight nodes (e.g., legacy Llama architectures) to simulate an offline, …

A Channel-Agnostic, Phase-Gated Checkpoint Architecture Coordinating An Autonomous Multi-Agent Content Pipeline Across A Stateful Conversational Interface And A Stateless Asynchronous Interface, Vipul Panday, Manjulika Bajpai Aug 2026

A Channel-Agnostic, Phase-Gated Checkpoint Architecture Coordinating An Autonomous Multi-Agent Content Pipeline Across A Stateful Conversational Interface And A Stateless Asynchronous Interface, Vipul Panday, Manjulika Bajpai

Defensive Publications Series

This disclosure documents the architecture of a production system that delivers a multi-step, AI-agent-driven content-production workflow to end users through two fundamentally different interaction surfaces at once: a real-time, stateful conversational interface (a chat bot, which inherently remembers where a conversation left off) and a fully stateless, asynchronous interface (individual links delivered by email, each a fresh, session-less HTTP request with no memory of any prior interaction). The system is architected so that a single, centrally persisted phase field is the sole source of truth for where a given user's in-flight workflow currently stands, with the chat interface consuming that …

Integrating Joint Geostatistical Simulation With Stochastic Pit Optimization For Mineral Resource And Reserve Estimation, Sentle Augustinus Hlajoane, Snehamoy Chatterjee Aug 2026

Integrating Joint Geostatistical Simulation With Stochastic Pit Optimization For Mineral Resource And Reserve Estimation, Sentle Augustinus Hlajoane, Snehamoy Chatterjee

Michigan Tech Publications

Spatial variability and uncertainty associated with grades and rock types significantly impact mineral resource estimation and reserve determination. Conventional approaches generally simulate grades within deterministic geological domains, which may inadequately capture uncertainty and the gradual transition of grades across lithological contacts. Although joint simulation of categorical and continuous variables improves geological realism and uncertainty characterization, reserve estimation is still commonly performed using deterministic ultimate pit optimization methods that do not explicitly propagate geological uncertainty into mine planning decisions. This study presents an integrated framework that combines pluri-Gaussian simulation for joint modeling of rock types and grades with stochastic pit limit …

Retaining Residents Is Important To New Hampshire’S Future: Why Do People Leave?, Kristine Bundschuh, Kenneth M. Johnson Aug 2026

Retaining Residents Is Important To New Hampshire’S Future: Why Do People Leave?, Kristine Bundschuh, Kenneth M. Johnson

Carsey Publications

Migration is critical to New Hampshire’s future. Between 2020 and 2025, the state’s entire population gain was due to migration, since more people died than were born in the state. In part, this migration gain is because fewer New Hampshire residents leave the state than residents of nearby states. While much attention focuses on attracting migrants to New Hampshire, another important piece of the state’s migration puzzle is understanding why people consider leaving.

In this brief, authors Kristine Bundschuh and Kenneth Johnson examine New Hampshire residents’ likelihood of leaving the state and explore why residents consider leaving the state. Their …
