Informal dementia caregiving imposes a substantial financial burden on families, compounded by systemic factors such as insurance coverage gaps, prohibitive long-term care costs, and the administrative complexity of navigating public and private benefit programs [1-2].

To address this challenge, we developed an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven application designed to streamline access to financial resources. The system is built on a curated dataset that links multidimensional caregiver profiles with relevant financial support programs. Profiles, encoded as input feature vectors, are derived from structured questionnaire responses capturing variables such as employment status, weekly caregiving hours, out-of-pocket medical expenses, and insurance coverage. Even when it is not digitally administered, it presents a prompt, receives a response, and contains within it a formula determining the consequences of that response. A wrong answer is taken as a failure of learning (not mere recall) and, by virtue of their quasi-digital objectivity, a batch of low quiz scores might warn of difficulty in reaching benchmarks. man.A.machine.txt is an audiovisual composition generated in real time through a real-time multimedia system that remediates the words of Julien Offray de La Mettrie’s Man a Machine, a foundational text of eighteenth-century materialist philosophy. The system produces cut-up poetry and a particle cloud, transforming the original text into a shifting field of language and data. This paper is based on my personal experience of working as a transcriber for AI projects between 2023 and 2025 in a Business Process Outsourcing company located in Eastern Europe. Sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata) is a shrub species native to the sagebrush steppe of western North America. Increasing drought and heat events, along with rising wildfire frequency, place significant stress on sagebrush populations and threaten their long‑term sustainability. Phenotypic plasticity, the ability of an individual plant to modify its physiology during its lifetime in response to environmental stress, may help certain sagebrush genotypes to better tolerate these changing conditions. Phenotypic plasticity does not involve genetic change, although stress triggered physiological modifications may be inherited through epigenetic processes. Plant parasitic nematodes (PPN) have threatened global agriculture in recent years, accounting for estimated crop losses totaling $157 billion each year. In Idaho, these pests cause an estimated $25 million in annual crop losses, largely due to two genera of plant-parasitic nematodes: Meloidogyne spp. (root-knot nematodes; RKN) and Globodera pallida (pale cyst nematode; PCN). With potatoes cultivars largely susceptible, plant-nematode interactions must be better understood. Solanum sisymbriifolium (SSI), a wild resistant relative of potatoes, may provide insights for defense.
