Some Human Resource Managers (HRMs) and team leaders in customer service settings struggle to effectively implement conflict resolution strategies. HRMs are particularly concerned about the impact of unresolved conflicts, as they can lead to higher employee turnover. Grounded in emotional intelligence (EI), the purpose of this qualitative pragmatic inquiry study was to explore strategies that six HRMs in the United States use to retain customer service employees. Data were collected using semistructured interviews, public documents, websites, and professional artifacts that included direct involvement in managing teams within customer service settings. Female entrepreneurs encounter distinct challenges when seeking funding, which can impede their business growth and long-term success. Addressing these women's strategies to secure financial resources is essential for fostering entrepreneurial advancement. Grounded in the resource mobilization theory, this qualitative pragmatic inquiry was to explore female entrepreneurs' strategies to obtain funding. The participants were six female entrepreneurs from diverse sectors who successfully acquired funding for their ventures. Hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) are a significant concern in healthcare, contributing to increased morbidity, mortality, and healthcare costs. Despite the effectiveness of hand hygiene in preventing HAIs, compliance among healthcare providers remains suboptimal. This Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) project aimed to evaluate whether an educational intervention could improve healthcare professionals’ knowledge and awareness of hand hygiene practices in a clinical setting. A convenience sample of 11 participants attended a 10-day educational intervention. Participants completed pretests and posttests to measure knowledge and awareness. Patients experiencing delirium are challenging for nurses, especially when aggressive behavior is also present. Nurses from all specialties have the potential to encounter patients who have or develop delirium during their hospitalization, particularly in the intensive care unit. The identified practice problem was inadequate nurse-patient communication, which contributes to low patient comprehension, poor adherence to medication regimens, and suboptimal health outcomes. African American mothers have the highest infant mortality rate of any other racial group, in the United States. In Milwaukee, the rates for non-Hispanic African Americans were two to three times higher than those for non-Hispanic Whites and Hispanics between 2016 and 2018. According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services in 2022, the infant mortality rate in 2021 was 12.9 for every 1,000 live births. This cross-sectional quantitative epidemiological study explores risk factors correlated with high infant mortality rates among Wisconsin African American mothers who gave birth to live infants between 2011 and 2021. The problem addressed in this study pertained to two elementary schools whose kindergarten teachers encountered challenges in meeting phonological awareness and phonics standards. This basic qualitative study aimed to explore the experiences of kindergarten teachers regarding effective strategies for enhancing children’s phonological awareness and phonics skills, grounded in the concept of Vygotsky’s zone of proximal development. Data were collected from 12 kindergarten teachers through semi-structured interviews to understand their instructional strategies and the support needed to implement these strategies effectively. Human resource (HR) business leaders who prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) champion a more dynamic and innovative workforce and alleviate labor turnover, a costly hindrance to growth. HR business leaders orchestrate these strategies, promoting an environment where diverse talents are valued and equitable opportunities abound, reducing labor turnover.
