Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a global health concern and is the second global leading cause of mental illness that produces disability and disease. Individuals with multiple tattoos who exhibit MDD have not been adequately studied. Individuals with multiple tattoos who exhibit MDD may struggle because of psychosocial associations of the diagnosis. Seven women and three men, ages 18 to 65, participated in this qualitative, phenomenological study. Data obtained from the semistructured; audio-recorded confidential video call interviews were analyzed with Moustakas’ bracketing method. Bracketing as a phenomenological method was instrumental in searching for associations in meanings and understandings with individuals. …

Sodium reduction therapies such as daily sodium monitoring, adhering to the American Heart Association (AHA) recommended sodium guidelines, and following the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet lowers blood pressure. Black males living in rural communities would benefit the most from sodium reduction therapies since they experience the highest rates of stroke and death from hypertension. However, Black males living in rural communities are underrepresented in studies, and little information exists on whether these sodium reduction therapies are known, believed, or practiced. The National League for Nursing called for implementing innovative teaching strategies in nursing education. Concept-based teaching (CBT) is a method that encourages learners to interpret, analyze, and integrate knowledge. Despite reports that CBT improves student outcomes and enhances critical thinking, the adoption of CBT is slow. This qualitative descriptive study, guided by Rogers’s diffusion of innovations theory, explored how nurse educators have experienced implementing CBT. Correctional officers face significant mental health challenges due to the high-stress and often traumatic nature of their work environments. This qualitative study used the conservation of resources (COR) theory to underpin exploration of correctional officers’ perceptions of mental health care and psychological help-seeking within personal, organizational, and societal contexts. This study, grounded in organizational resilience theory, explored trauma-informed behavioral health leadership strategies aimed at enhancing mental wellness among these essential providers. This qualitative study was an investigation of the initiatives and challenges faced by behavioral health leaders at Organization X, the largest behavioral health organization in the Southcentral United States, in combating post-COVID-19 homelessness. With a focus on the organization’s housing and homelessness division, the study was an exploration of the dynamic landscape of behavioral health in the pandemic’s aftermath. The problem addressed in this study was the struggle that U.S. secondary teachers experience when implementing culturally responsive teaching (CRT) strategies. Guided by the culturally responsive education model as the conceptual framework, the purpose of this basic qualitative study was to explore secondary teachers’ perceptions of their successes, challenges, and needs in implementing CRT to support student achievement and foster a sense of belonging. Homelessness and period (menstruation) poverty are recurring global phenomena. In the United States, approximately 220,000 women experience homelessness annually. Studies have shown that approximately 35% of individuals who menstruate experience period poverty while living in Baltimore, Maryland. The theoretical foundation was Wollstonecraft‘s theory of feminism. To better understand this phenomenon, a general qualitative study was conducted using semistructured interviews with 18 people who were once homeless while menstruating. Mental health managers are concerned with turnover because it affects employees, mental health programs, and patients. Drawing upon self-determination theory, the purpose of this quantitative correlational study was to determine if employee trust in leadership and intrinsic motivation were correlated to and, thus, predict turnover intention within the mental health field in Northeast Florida. Data were collected from 100 current mental health managers in middle management and below in Northeast Florida through psychologically valid questionnaires. To meet accreditation benchmarks, program directors of dietetic education programs monitor registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) exam pass rates. The RDN exam first-time pass rate for a midwestern university’s dietetic coordinated graduate program (CGP) had been 72.73% in 2022, 47.62% in 2021, 60.87% in 2020, and 69.7% in 2019, all of which fell below the required minimum of 80% for accredited dietetic education programs.
