During the summer of 1934 this investigation was conducted to determine the effect of overgrazing on the mortality of desert browse in the vicinity of the Desert Range Branch experiment station. Range lands of western United States have, as a whole been subjected to overgrazing. Utah has about 24 million acres of public acres of public domain that can only be utilized from grazing. An effort has been made to put this area under control. The "Taylor Grazing Act" passed by Congress June 28, 1934 is a big step in the direction of the control of this vast area of …

Stated in the form of a question, the problem of this study is: What are the expenditures and costs of senior seminaries in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints?
Specifically, this study proposes to answer the following secondary questions which are relevant to the problem:
(1) What are the expenditures for the establishment, maintenance, and "current expense" of the senior seminaries in the Church of Jesus Chrsit of Latter Day Saints?
(2) What are the certain "unit-costs" in the senior seminaries?

The purpose of this Thesis has been to write, for the first time, an authentic, unbiased "Biography of Erastus Fairbanks Snow, Missionary, Pioneer, and Colonizer."
Biography was chosen at the suggestion of Dr. Lowry Nelson, Professor of Rural Social Economics, of Brigham Young University, and because of a natural fondness for western history, and a sincere appreciation for the men and women who made "The West" liveable. The purpose of this thesis is to show how the British Parliament by its unjust legislation for Ireland, caused discontent and misery among the Irish people, and how by later Agrarian legislation. The Land Acts of 1870, 1881 and 1885 - it tried to remedy some of these evils.

The work performed on the general problem outlined above is described in this report together with the data from this work. The present research covers but part of the general problem and, obviously, definite conclusions in certain directions will have to await further data. However, it is possible now, from results of the present research, to predict rather carefully the effect of acid and basic catalysts on the formaldehyde resinification reaction with lignite tar distillate. This has an important bearing on the general problem.
