For the past five years physical education programs in Richmond area secondary schools have placed considerable emphasis upon physical fitness testing. The majority of the schools are ut ilizing a test battery published by the American Association for Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. Results of these tests are utilized to compare one student with another and to compare one school withanother. These comparisons are made known to the students and to the public. The basis for comparison is a set of national norms developed by the AAHPER .

The purpose of this study is to show that John ilton and his contemporaries (such as John Goodwin and Roger Williams) never had in mind a broad conception of religious toleration to be extended to persons of all faiths, whether they were Christians, Jews, Turks, or the like, but, because of their conceptions of Christian liberty, advocated a theory of religious toleration to be extended only to Protestant Christians who were entitled to Christian liberty--e.g., the regenerate. This study traced the history of the SS&If Program at Richmond College from its inception in the early 1950's to the beginning of the 1962 fall semester. It was found that the program has not only assisted the Admissions Committee in giving doubtful applicants with potential a chance to qualify for admission, but also it has been of assistance in holding admissions standards high in a time when enrollment was needed. Also it has value as a public relations measure in handling doubtful applicants highly recommended by constituents of the college. While the economic factor was linked to the formalization …

Throughout the years the story of man's development has been one of long continuous change. Thousands of years ago primitive man lived without the use of fire, tools or language. Gathering his food and other necessities, he was at the mercy of the cold, the wind, the rain and other dangers harmful to his existence. Communications is a dynamic field -- a company cannot afford to allow its communications program to become static. As an accomplished musician must practice to maintain his skill, so must a company sharpen and refine its communications. Conditions change and the communications program must change to meet the new needs.
