The study intended to assess the level of awareness and the status of applications of total quality management (TQM) in medical libraries. A survey method was used to collect data from the library professionals serving in the libraries of medical colleges/institutes/universities of Punjab, Pakistan. The findings revealed that the majority of the respondents claimed a good level of awareness and understanding about TQM applications for medical libraries. TQM applications including “committed leadership and management support; continuous improvement; teamwork; involvement of everyone; and employee empowerment” were practiced in medical libraries to achieve “customer satisfaction”. These 130 IoNI websites were selected because of the status conferred to premier institutions by the Government of India. The purpose of this study is to assess the use and impacts of internet on academic success of Social Science student studying in the public sector Universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan.

Survey research method using a questionnaire was employed for data collection from a sample of 303 Social Science students spread over five public sector universities of KP. The response rate was 66% and the data was analyzed through SPSS 20.0 using descriptive and inferential statistics.

This study aims to evaluate the resources, services and system of TEVTA libraries in the Punjab. A total of 40 libraries are established in TEVTA colleges in Punjab. In order to evaluate these libraries, their physical, information resources, services, systems and staff was main considerations of this study.

This study aims to review the implementation of functional requirements of electronic records management systems (ERMS) at the best Indonesian academic archive (LKPT), from the perspective of archivists and ERMS developers. This instrumental case study was conducted at three of the best academic archives in Indonesia using a checklist; the resulting data were examined and presented qualitatively. The findings show that the ERMS developed by LKPTs do not meet international functional standards, due to LKPTs and internal units are unprepared to implement the ERMS provided by the national archives. This study investigated the organizational commitment of information professionals working at university libraries in Pakistan. Survey method was adopted using a questionnaire to collect data from 329 information professionals of Punjab and Islamabad. The questionnaire contained 18-items measure of organizational commitment, developed by Meyer, Allen and Smith (1993), along with certain demographic variables. Purpose: This study aimed at exploring the preferred and effective communication channels used by medical students, and the reasons for choosing these for knowledge sharing (KS).

Method: A survey questionnaire was used to collect the data from voluntarily participated 194 undergraduate medical students selected by proportional stratified simple random sampling technique from the University College of Medicine of The University of Lahore. Secondary data was collected through review of the relevant literature. Primary data was collected through a questionnaire survey of 244 librarians of libraries in Pakistan. The study examined the perception and usage of health information sources and services by the urban community users of public libraries. The study investigated 110 users from two public libraries in Bhadravathi. The main objective is to determine academic library leaders' perspectives regarding the key challenges facing academic libraries and leadership, and how library professionals can meet these challenges effectively. The study explores the leadership development opportunities and challenges for senior library professionals and academic libraries of the future, and what type of skills and abilities they need. A semi-structured, telephone and face-to-face interviews were arranged, the author interviewed library directors, managers and most senior librarians, a total of 16 library leaders and administrators were selected to this study.
