Older adults' emergency departments (EDs) visits increase globally. Since the patterns of older adults' EDs usage differed from other age groups, identifying their risk factors related to emergency would be beneficial. Chest pain, dizziness, dyspnea and hypoalbuminemia were related to emergency in EDs visits by older adults in South Korea.

The purpose of this presentation is to discuss an instrument revision and validation study conducted to modify the Self-Efficacy Towards Teaching Inventory for international use. Content validity was determined with international expert nurse educators, and an international sample was used for factor analysis and to calculate the internal consistency reliability.

A quantitative descriptive study was conducted to determine the association between registered nurses' experiences of continuing professional development and their sharing of information gained. Data was collected with a questionnaire and descriptive statistics was used to analyse data. Found a strong association between experiences of CPD and sharing of information.
