Discussion On The Effectiveness Of Motivational Interviewing On Motivations For Rehabilitation Among Stroke Patients, Hsiao-Mei Chen, Ching-Min Chen

It was showed from the generalized estimating equation that the scores of rehabilitation motivation of the experimental group in the post-tests six weeks after and three months after the intervention was 3.10 and 2.54 points more than those of the control group, reaching significant difference statistically (p< 0.05).

An undergraduate nursing course was developed to analyze cultural perspectives influencing health. Innovative teaching-learning activities were used, such as photo-elicitation, cultural-heritage assessments, and interviews with matriarchal family figures. Students presented on health concerns of a cultural group, and evidence-based practices addressing those concerns. They proposed novel and culturally appropriate interventions.
