The Schmidt Site: A Geologic Report, Julie Stein
The Schmidt Site: A Geologic Report, Julie Stein
Honors Theses
The Schmidt Site (20 SA 192) is located in Saginaw County, south of the Cass River and just east of the Grand Trunk Railroad in the NE 1/4, sec. 19, T 11 N, R 4 E, of the Bridgeport Township (figs. 1, 2, 3). The area is a remnant of a glacial lake bottom. There is very little local relief. Higher elevation exists to the north that is called the Port Huron Moraine and to the southeast, the Juniata, Owosso and Flint Moraines. All of these systems are associated with the last advance of ice, namely the Valders Advance (fig. …
Jurgen Moltmann's 'Theology Of Hope:' A Brief Purport, Rod Crowell
Jurgen Moltmann's 'Theology Of Hope:' A Brief Purport, Rod Crowell
Honors Theses
This "brief purport" began as a critique In the best of intentions, however, zeal quickly outran intelligence, and the need to get a firm grip on the thought of Jurgen Moltmann became tantamount to producing anything at all. The strange new territory of dialectical theology, coupled with the added handicap of formulating and answering my own questions, forced reconsideration of this project's direction and purpose.
New Forms Of Heterosexual Marriage And Mating, Robert Lundy
New Forms Of Heterosexual Marriage And Mating, Robert Lundy
Honors Theses
One third to one half of marriages are destined to end in a divorce court. However, in the de jure system or orders, monogamous marriage is the only accepted form with sexual behavior limited thereto. The nuclear family is the economic and residential unit. The expectation is that the marriage should last for the lifetime of the spouses, although increasingly there are provisions for exceptional cases termed failure. Other popular expectations are that the woman will be the socializing agent and the male will be the economic agent. This thesis explores the changing nature of families and marriage.
