Leadership development is a primary organizational development function. It provides an opportunity for professional growth and is essential to assisting personal evolution for individuals in any capacity. This qualitative case study explored incorporating the transformational leadership style in a multilocation nonprofit organization. Eight participants participated in semistructured interviews. Each interview lasted approximately 30–45 minutes. The interview format consisted of asking open-ended semistructured questions and allowing participants to respond based on their organizational experiences. This thesis explores how Kristen Bell’s articulation of imperfect motherhood, as heard on the popular podcast Armchair Expert, contributes to broader social discourses surrounding motherhood, empowering some mothers while inadvertently constraining others. Using rhetorical analysis grounded in Goffman’s dramaturgical approach, facework theory, and McGee’s theory of fragments, this study explores Bell’s discourse and performance of motherhood within the podcast medium. The podcasting medium provides a rich source for rhetorical analysis due to the long form interview content, and emotionally nuanced content, leading to a stronger connection with the audience. Electronic health record (EHR) downtime presents significant challenges to patient safety and care quality in acute care settings, particularly regarding timely medication administration. This project addressed the problem of late or absent medication doses during planned or unplanned EHR downtime. The investigator aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a structured downtime plan in improving nurses’ ability to administer medications on time during periods of EHR unavailability. Weight recidivism after bariatric surgery is a frustrating phenomenon for bariatric surgery patients and healthcare professionals. A 90-day lifestyle modification intervention for patients at least 18 months postsurgery was performed in the primary care setting to determine if a structured program could promote or maintain weight loss. The intervention aimed to investigate if participation in a structured lifestyle modification program would impact the body mass index of bariatric patients at least 18 months postsurgical intervention. This study sought to understand the lived experience of professional counselors when implementing trauma informed care to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. There are few studies that have assessed the counselors lived experience of implementing TIC, and even fewer that have examined professional counselors experience doing so in a specialized population.

This study reflects an examination of the forces and factors that impact effective decision-making on a Site-Based Decision Making council (SBDM) in Kentucky. It explores the relationship between consensus decision-making, the leader of a school, and the stakeholders who sit on an SBDM council as it relates to members’ feelings of inclusion, value, and belonging. A qualitative case study was designed to capture observational data gathered during SBDM meetings, as well as data gathered during member interviews. As emerging technologies reshape manufacturing processes, organizations face a growing digital skills gap, particularly across a multigenerational workforce. These issues contribute to hospital-acquired infections and can lead to complications and increased healthcare costs. The quality project evaluated the impact of the HOUDINI guidelines nursedriven protocol to reduce infection rates and Foley utilization days. This descriptive phenomenological study explored the communication approaches and experiences between leaders and expatriate staff in English-medium international schools. The researcher aimed to understand how leadership communication, feedback, and cultural awareness impact professional relationships and organizational effectiveness in diverse educational settings. Semistructured online interviews were conducted with seven current or former international school leaders and teachers to capture their lived experiences. This qualitative research study investigated the effects of professional relationships and professional development on the experiences of 11 African American women superintendents in Texas, a historically underrepresented minority in educational leadership. Preeclampsia is a significant medical condition that affects the perinatal population, posing risks to both the mother and fetus. Complications associated with preeclampsia include stroke, seizure, placental abruption (premature separation of the placenta from the uterus), fetal growth restriction (impaired growth due to reduced blood flow through the placenta), premature birth, and low-birth-weight infants with associated developmental issues. Approximately 40% of all healthcare workers have reported episodes of violence by patients over the last 2 years. This Veteran’s Health Agency reported 824 disruptive events reported in the last 5 years, of which 56 occurred in the emergency department. This inductive study examined the intersectional experience within research collaborations of tenure-track faculty who are both first-generation college graduate students and from racial and ethnic groups (as defined in the United States) that are underrepresented in STEM fields (as defined by the National Science Foundation). Over the past 60 years, there have been general comments and outcry that Catholic higher education schools simply are not Catholic enough anymore. The concern about the lack of identity started with the decline in ordained leadership and mounting pressures to compete with secular institutions. To measure if Catholic identity has declined, a working definition of Catholic identity is needed. This study employed the Delphi methodology to define Catholic identity among a subset of Catholic higher education institutions—diocesan-sponsored schools.
