Report by R. H. Allen on the "Estate of Col. R.B. Snowden taken from the beginning of the books to December 31, 1910." Snowden died on October 6, 1909, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He was reported to be one of the wealthiest men in Tennessee upon his death.

These furniture designs for the dining room, billiard room, main hall, and library were created by Bayard S. Cairns, architect and nephew of R.B. Snowden, circa 1905.
