The purpose of this transcendental phenomenological study was to describe the experiences of educators and service providers in identifying minority students in special education in Tennessee elementary schools. The theory guiding this study was Vygotsky’s sociocultural theory. This theory emphasizes cultural tools and their functions in understanding a different culture. It also provides a framework for researchers to investigate how education links individuals to their culture. Despite advances in resuscitation science, sudden cardiac arrest remains a leading cause of death in the United States, with substandard intra-hospital survival to discharge rates. High-quality resuscitation skills for nurses are needed, including effective CPR education. This study aimed to close the gap in the understanding of the relationship between competence and confidence after the use of the low-dose, high-frequency educational method using a sample of nurses. The Modified Basic Resuscitation Skills Self-Efficacy Scale was used to measure confidence, and the Resuscitation Quality Improvement program measured competence. The purpose of this phenomenological study is to understand accessing early childhood education and care (ECEC) opportunities by military families using government and private programs. The study focused on 12 families who have children ages three to five years old enrolled in an ECEC program. The philosophical foundation used in this study is Heidegger’s hermeneutic phenomenology. This comprehensive review explores how integrating religious beliefs into psychotherapy impacts mental health outcomes. Following a structured approach guided by Whittemore and Knafl's (Nov 2005) methodology, the review involves a systematic literature search across academic databases, identifying 25 studies with diverse methods. Results indicate significant enhancements in both psychological and spiritual outcomes when religious beliefs are integrated into psychotherapy, compared to no-treatment control conditions. Compared to alternate treatments, adapted psychotherapy demonstrates a small to medium effect. Restricted repetitive behaviors (RRBs) are typically triggered by anxiety and can cause significant detriment to an individual's life. This qualitative, flexible design, multi-case study explored the financial impact of COVID-19 on foreign-born Filipino Asian Immigrant entrepreneurs. Specifically, what impact it had on this ethnic group in Duval County, Florida. This body of research sought to determine the challenges faced by these entrepreneurs along with how they were impacted by this event, and the lessons learned. The purpose of this quantitative, nonexperimental causal-comparative study is to determine if there is a difference in the percentage of courses completed between online university students with disabilities who are experiencing food and/or housing insecurity and those who are not. Students with disabilities at universities are less likely to complete courses than peers without disabilities, and while this discrepancy is often blamed on disability, other factors that impact student performance must be examined to determine if intersecting factors that disproportionately impact people with disabilities, specifically food and housing insecurity, may be contributing to decreased percentages of course completion. Despite growing evidence of the need for trauma-informed teaching practices in schools, most music educators have limited training or knowledge of trauma-informed teaching strategies. The need for trauma-informed teaching has grown due to many students and teachers having lived through the collective trauma experience of social isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Inherently social in nature, music classes are an ideal setting to address the unique needs of students who have experienced trauma.
