Ai-Based Adaptive Load Balancer For Secure Access To Large Language Models, Assaf Namer, Hector Diaz, Jim Miller, Brandon Maltzman, Hauke Vagts

Defensive Publications Series

Different large language models (LLMs) specialized to domains such as writing code, engaging in conversations, generating content, etc. are available. A specialized LLM can only reliably answer questions in domains over which it has been trained. Large numbers of types of specialized LLMs can make it difficult for a user, such as an application that generates LLM queries, to choose the right type of LLM. This disclosure describes techniques to automatically route query payloads between large language models specialized for different domains. The techniques utilize a vector database to semantically match an LLM to a user query. The techniques also …

User-Centric Test Sequence Generation For Fault Detection, Kun-Da Wu, Berlin Hsin

Defensive Publications Series

Test engineering, including development of new test cases from large volumes of log data, can be expensive. User reports often do not include clear description of the context of poor user experience. The effectiveness of a test case derived from user reports is hard to validate. This disclosure describes the use of machine learning techniques such as attention based neural networks, language models, etc. to generate from user reports realistic, multi-faceted test sequences designed to trigger failures. A pattern extractor extracts critical events relevant to particular failures from session logs. A test sequence generator generates user-like action sequences or event …

Optimization Of Audio Curation For Venues Based On Real-Time Analysis Of User Response, Jaime Guajardo, Dmitrii Boiarshinov, Gabi Lanning Oct 2023

Optimization Of Audio Curation For Venues Based On Real-Time Analysis Of User Response, Jaime Guajardo, Dmitrii Boiarshinov, Gabi Lanning

Defensive Publications Series

Optimally selecting types of audio to align with a particular experience is a difficult task. Many venues hire music curation service providers, such as DJs, which can be prohibitively expensive. Further, a hired music curator that incorrectly curates music for a venue can substantially reduce patronage to a venue. Finally, it can be prohibitively difficult to determine whether music is being curated incorrectly or if patronage in a venue is being reduced due to some other cause. A music curation service provider’s task is complicated by rapidly changing tastes in music within the general public. This problem is exacerbated due …

Redundant Mesh Trees For Robust Scalable Low-Latency P2p Media Distribution, Stefan Lindmark, Christopher Probst-Ranly, Alexander Schäfer Oct 2023

Redundant Mesh Trees For Robust Scalable Low-Latency P2p Media Distribution, Stefan Lindmark, Christopher Probst-Ranly, Alexander Schäfer

Defensive Publications Series

A redundant mesh (RMS) tree structure is proposed as a P2P network topology for reducing network latency. The RMS tree structure may enable low-latency network scalability through redundant connections within tree nodes, and a fully connected mesh cluster at each node of the tree structure. When compared to a traditional P2P or client-server network topology, bandwidth demands may be reduced at every node of the network. Thus, latent network capabilities may be utilized, and overall system latency may decrease.

Twamp Sessions Over Controlled Sr-Te Paths, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

The present disclosure relates to Two-Way Active Measurement Protocol (TWAMP) sessions over controlled Segment Routing-Traffic Engineering (SR-TE) paths. A new field “reply path identifier” is proposed in TWAMP control request message, to initiate TWAMP Req/Resp tests sessions over SR-TE paths. A 32bit fixed length field “reply path identifier” contains color of the reverse SR policy for SR-MPLS and SRv6. A New Error code is proposed in Response, if the SR-TE path does not exist on a Server. This can enable TWAMP for two-way delay measurements on SR-TE paths for bidirectional data traffic.

Pre-Aimed Sensor Rig Setup, Anonymous Oct 2023

Pre-Aimed Sensor Rig Setup, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

[1] We present a method of pre-aiming the cameras before the camera array has to be transferred offsite. Each style of collection/capture volume will have a dedicated family of towers/pods that are optimized for the specific use case (e.g. full body capture would have a set of 5+ towers with a large capture volume, detailed touch-typing studies could have fewer towers with a much smaller capture volume, etc.). There is still the initial time investment of the domain expert to set up the towers the first time, but after that the cameras stay fixed in place and the same set …

Method And System To Automatically Synthesize Smart Contracts Using Transaction Traces, Ranjit Kumaresan Oct 2023

Method And System To Automatically Synthesize Smart Contracts Using Transaction Traces, Ranjit Kumaresan

Defensive Publications Series

The present disclosure relates to a method and system to automatically synthesize smart contracts using transaction traces. The present disclosure suggests collecting transaction trace raw data from a blockchain network and transmitting the transaction trace raw data obtained to a transaction decoder system for initial data preprocessing. Thereafter, call frames are extracted from the transaction trace raw data and a Depth-First Search (DFS) traversal is performed on the extracted call frames. Subsequently, at each step of the DFS traversal, the contract address associated (that is, “to” address) with the extracted call frame is verified to determine if it is known …
