Visualization Of Data Via Hierarchical Grouping And Aggregation, Gabriel Horvath
Defensive Publications Series
A hierarchical grouping operation request is received indicating an attribute of the dataset. Records of the dataset are grouped together that have a common value and visually presented as a unified record. A statistical aggregation value of the respective unified record is calculated. The statistical aggravation value may be a summary calculation such as sum, average, or count. Each unified record is presented with their value identifier and corresponding statistical aggregation value. A position of the column is moved to a first (left most) column position in the grid.

In a customer service call center, when an issue is reported by a customer, a SR (service request) is logged. Often, additional logs are needed to resolve the SR; typically, an engineer connects with the customer over a live maintenance window (MW) to address the issue. Solving an issue can also be quite long or can involve scheduling multiple MWs before a root cause is identified. Thus, issues with maintenance windows, scheduling such windows, and potentially having multiple customer interactions to fully address an issue can impact a company's ability to provide quality service to the customer. Techniques to address …

Composite Tube Supported On O-Rings For Sealing Of Rotor Cavity Against Coolant Ingress
Defensive Publications Series
Direct slot cooling is one of the important methods used in electric motors to enhance efficiency and performance. Although direct cooling significantly improves power density, it requires sealing of rotor space from the stator space to avoid oil getting into rotor space. The solution proposes a composite sealing tube placed into the air gap between stator and rotor and sealed by the O-rings on the outer diameter. The solution separates stator and rotor cavity to prevent ingress of coolant into the rotor cavity.

Scalable Evaluation Of Large Language Model Prompts To Thwart Multi-Turn Attacks, Assaf Namer, Prashant Kulkarni
Defensive Publications Series
While multi-turn attacks on a large language model (LLM) can be thwarted by evaluating the prompt within its context window, lengthy context-window evaluation is costly and time intensive. This disclosure describes techniques that evaluate multi-turn prompts for the presence of multi-turn attacks encapsulated within the context window. In contrast to traditional brute-force scanning of the entire context window, per the techniques, prompt/context-window metadata is obtained by aggregating the ongoing sequence of prompts into a table, each row of which includes the evolution results from the previous step. The prompt metadata provides valuable security information to a security scanner, thereby reducing …
