Intelligent Network Probe Adjustment Based On Leosat Conditions, Dave Zacks, Robert Barton, Tim Szigeti, Jeff Apcar

Defensive Publications Series

Techniques are presented herein that support the ability to dynamically create, implement, and monitor the performance of network probes in a low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite (LEOsat) deployment such that the probes can alert, as rapidly as possible, to real network and application performance issues while avoiding both the false positive and false negative conditions that are associated with more traditional, static network probe definitions. While such a dynamically defined probing capability would be valuable in any network deployment, it is especially so in a LEOsat deployment with its combination of highly variable delay, jitter, and packet loss, even between …

A Type-To-Talk Framework Using Generative Voice Cloning Methods For Privacy-Preserving Communications, Dongeek Shin

Defensive Publications Series

A method for providing a text-to-speech framework that generated speech that mimics a user’s voice is disclosed. The proposed method receives sample speech from the user, and generates speaker embeddings specific to the user. The speaker embeddings are generated using a neural network. The speaker embeddings are used to fine-tune a generative vocoder. The finetuned generative vocoder can be used to generate speech that mimics the speech patterns and vocal characteristics of the user. Thus, text entered by the user can be converted to audio that sounds like the user’s speech. The generated audio is then transmitted to other participants …

Systems And Methods To Differentiate Access Ports And Uplinks In Telecommunication Networks Using Machine Learning, Anonymous

Defensive Publications Series

This invention is adapted to identify uplinks vs access ports automatically using supervised Machine learning (ML) techniques. Once uplinks vs access ports are identified, the present methods automatically suppress/reduce the noise/non-actionable/non-important alarms from the access ports.
