Catalyst was constructed in form of microreactor by fused deposition modeling (FDM) or 3D printing method that allow micro scale customization in order to achieve high detail construction. Poly (lactic acid) (PLA) and Poly (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) (ABS) filaments were used as a built-up material. The surface modification was introduced to improve filaments surface adhesion by using alkaline treatment and Polyethyleneimine with variation of time and concentration and then deposited with polyelectrolyte multilayers by layer-bylayer technique before catalyst loading. Solidified natural gas (SNG) via clathrate hydrates has been proposed as an alternative approach for natural gas storage and transportation due to its numerous advantages. However, a slow hydrate formation rate and a requirement of operating conditions are the major limitations, which need to be improved to make SNG competitive in a large scale deployment. In this work, the roles of 5.56 mol% pyrrolidine were investigated for the methane hydrate formation in terms of thermodynamics and kinetics along with morphology. An in-depth analysis of crude palm oil is important to differentiate crude palm oil (CPO) from different geographic provenance for administrative control purposes to prevent and solve the problem of smuggling CPO from abroad to Thailand. In this study, eleven CPO samples from five provinces in Thailand were studied for their composition. The compositions of fatty acids, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and carotenoids were characterized by GC-FID, GC-MS, and HPLC-DAD techniques, respectively. The effects of Ag-incorporation on the catalytic performance of ZSM-5 zeolites have been investigated. Since Ag-incorporation can promote the formation of light olefins and significantly enhance catalytic performance in n-pentane catalytic cracking. However, the Ag-incorporated ZSM-5 zeolite was rapidly deactivated in npentane catalytic cracking. Thus, CLD and sulfation methods were introduced to improve catalytic activity and stability of Ag-incorporated ZSM-5 zeolites. The dynamic processes of brain development during perinatal period are vulnerable to neurotoxic insults leading to changes in brain structure and functions. Hippocampus plays an important role in learning and memory. Hippocampal formation can be influenced by substance used during brain developmental processes including neuron differentiation and synaptogenesis. Bacteriocins are classified by their mode of cytotoxicity such as pore former, endonuclease, etc. Colicins are the member of bacteriocins produced by Escherichia coli (E.coli). To investigate the phytochemicals of the entire plants of Dendrobium braianense brought about in the isolation of three bibenzyls, which included chrysotoxin, moscatilin and gigantol. From the whole plant of D. kentrophyllum three flavonoids, namely, quercetin, kaempferol and rutin were isolated, the structures of which were decided by means of analysis of spectroscopic data to compare the values already reported. They were assessed for their alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activity. Gigantol, quercetin and kaempferolwere found to exhibit strong alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activity when compared with the positive control acarbose, while chrysotoxin, moscatilin and rutin were devoid of activity.

Inventory management (IM) analysis in a state-level hospital pharmacy of Myanmar was done by using qualitative and quantitative analysis to classify the drug categories that require different levels of management control. Workflow analysis was qualitatively conducted using in-depth interviews of pharmacists. The annual expenditure consumed on each drug of pharmacy for the years 2016 and 2017 was analyzed and application of ABC, VEN, ABC-VEN matrix analysis was performed. The aim of this research was to develop a nanogel formulation-based on modified natural polymer, hyaluronic acid (HA), as a biodegradable material for adjuvant delivery. Polyinosinic:polycytidylic acid (poly(I:C)) have been approved by FDA as a promising adjuvant candidate for the TLR3 (Toll-Like Receptor 3) activation. Vancomycin pharmacokinetics has been described by 1- and 2-compartment models. One-compartment models built from routine monitoring data, which were mainly trough samples, are commonly used to predict area under the curves (AUC), the useful indicator for vancomycin efficacy. The question stands whether AUCs from 1-compartment models with sparse data can sufficiently represent the true AUC. Human epidermal growth factor (hEGF) is a short polypeptide that has gained clinical importance in the recent decade for wound healing. Currently, plant-based expression system is considered as an alternative viable platform for low-cost recombinant protein production. Hence, this study aims to produce hEGF in Nicotiana benthamiana plants via., transient expression using a geminiviral vector. The hEGF gene constructs were designed into six different constructs. Anti-RANKL monoclonal antibody is a fully human monoclonal antibody (mAb) available for treatment of osteoporosis. In this study, anti-RANKL mAb was transiently expressed using the Geminiviral expression system in Nicotiana benthamiana. Moreover, the structure of plant-produced mAb was characterized and functional activity was also determined. The result indicated that anti-RANKL mAb was produced with the maximum expression level on 8 days post infiltration and estimated to be 0.5 mg/g leaf fresh weight. Unfortunately, no available treatment inhibits migration, a key metastasis process in lung cancer. In this study, the effect of 22-O-(N-Boc-L-glycine) ester of renieramycin M (22-Boc-Gly-RM), a semi-synthetic amino ester derivative of bistetrahydroisoquinolinequinone alkaloid isolated from Xestospongia sp., on migratory behavior of human lung cancer cells was investigated. This work was divided into three study phases: the two-phase randomized controlled clinical trials and proteomics study. First, the phase I clinical trial aimed to determine efficacy and safety of mulberry leaves on postprandial glucose following the 50-g sucrose ingestion in healthy nondiabetic adults and to explore the optimal administered dose of 1-deoxynojirimycin (DNJ), the major antihyperglycemic compound of mulberry leaves. The results showed the alleviation of postprandial hyperglycemia by mulberry leaves in a dose-dependent fashion. Adverse effects of mulberry leaves included bloating and flatulence, loose stool, and nausea. In addition, 12 mg of DNJ was considered the optimal dose …

งานวิจัยฉบับนี้ได้ทำการศึกษาปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกระบวนการหมักส่ากากน้ำตาลจากอ้อยแบบกึ่งกะ (Fed - Batch Fermentation) ด้วยเชื้อจุลินทรีย์ Saccharomyces cerevisiae เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการหมักส่ากากน้ำตาลจากอ้อย โดยอาศัยเทคนิคการออกแบบการทดลอง (Design of Experiment) เนื่องจากในกระบวนการหมักส่ากากน้ำตาลจากอ้อยเพื่อผลิตสุราขาวในระดับอุตสาหกรรมต้องการผลิตน้ำส่าให้มีประสิทธิภาพการหมักสูง ใช้วัตถุดิบอย่างคุ้มค่า และคำนึงถึงกลิ่นรสเป็นสำคัญ โดยปัจจุบันโรงงานกรณีศึกษาได้รับวัตถุดิบกากน้ำตาลมีความเข้มข้นอยู่ในช่วง 48 - 53 % โดยน้ำหนักต่อน้ำหนัก หมักแบบกึ่งกะที่ความเข้มข้นของน้ำตาลเฉลี่ย 20.99 % โดยน้ำหนักต่อปริมาตร และมีประสิทธิภาพการหมักเฉลี่ย 79.96 % จากการศึกษาก่อนหน้าร่วมกับการใช้หลักการแผนภูมิก้างปลา (Fish bone diagram) มาช่วยในการวิเคราะห์หาสาเหตุของปัญหาที่มีผลต่อประสิทธิภาพการหมักส่ากากน้ำตาลจากอ้อยโดยผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์เชี่ยวชาญด้านการหมักส่ากากน้ำตาล พบว่าปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อประสิทธิภาพการหมักส่ากากน้ำตาลจากอ้อยมี 3 ปัจจัย ได้แก่ ความเข้มข้นของกากน้ำตาล ความเข้มข้นของน้ำตาลที่ใช้หมัก และอุณหภูมิภายในถังหมัก เมื่อนำมาออกแบบการทดลองด้วยวิธีแบบบ็อกซ์-เบห์นเคน (Box-Behnken Design) เพื่อหาค่าสภาวะที่เหมาะสมด้วยการออกแบบการทดลองแบบพื้นผิวตอบ (Response Surface Design) ของปัจจัยทั้ง 3 ปัจจัย ที่ส่งผลทำให้ประสิทธิภาพการหมักส่ากากน้ำตาลจากอ้อยเพิ่มสูงขึ้น พบว่า ความเข้มข้นของกากน้ำตาลที่ 50 % โดยน้ำหนักต่อน้ำหนัก ความเข้มข้นของน้ำตาลที่ใช้หมัก 16 % โดยน้ำหนักต่อปริมาตร และอุณหภูมิภายในถังหมัก 33 °C ส่งผลทำให้ค่าเฉลี่ยประสิทธิภาพการหมักกากน้ำตาลจากอ้อยเพิ่มขึ้น โดยมีค่าเท่ากับ 85.74 %

งานวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการเพิ่มกำลังการผลิตสำหรับกระบวนการตัดเตรียมยาง เนื่องจากความต้องการของลูกค้ามีเพิ่มมากขึ้น และไม่ให้เกิดคอขวดในสายการผลิต จึงทำการปรับปรุงโดยใช้เทคนิคลีน เพื่อลดความสูญเปล่าที่เกิดขึ้นในกระบวนการผลิต ในสภาพปัจจุบันกระบวนการเตรียมยางมีกิจกรรมที่ไม่สร้างคุณค่าอยู่มาก โดยขั้นตอนงานวิจัยเริ่มจากการเก็บข้อมูลกิจกรรม เวลา และการไหลตามสภาพปัจจุบันของกระบวนการเพื่อศึกษาของกระบวนการตัดเตรียมยางที่เป็นคอขวดในการผลิตยาง จากนั้นวิเคราะห์ความสูญเสียของกระบวนการโดยการระดมสมองจากทีมงานและใช้แผนผังสายธารแห่งคุณค่า (Value Stream Mapping) ในการระบุถึงกิจกรรม NA NVA และ NNVA เมื่อทราบสาเหตุแล้วจึงนำหลักการ ECRS (Eliminate, Combine, Rearrange, Simplify) มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการลดกิจกรรมและการเคลื่อนไหวที่ไม่จำเป็น รวมไปถึงการใช้ระบบคัมบัง การกำหนดเวลามาตรฐานในการทำงาน และจัดแผนผังการไหลของกระบวนการ จึงส่งผลให้เวลาและความถี่ของกิจกรรมที่ไม่เกิดคุณค่าลดลง จากผลงานวิจัยเมื่อเปรียบกระบวนการก่อนและหลังการปรับปรุงพบว่าสามารถลดเวลาของกิจกรรมได้ 7146.6 เซ็นตินาที (71.5 นาที) ต่อกะ โดย 1 นาทีมีค่าเท่ากับ 100 เซ็นตินาที หรือคิดเป็นร้อยละ 16.4 และสามารถลดระยะทางของการขนส่งจากเดิม 151.3 เมตร ลดเหลือ 59.9 เมตรต่อกะ กำลังการผลิตการเตรียมยางเพิ่มขึ้นโดยเฉลี่ยจาก 199 ก้อนต่อกะเวลา เป็น 255 ก้อนต่อกะเวลา

ในการศึกษากระบวนการตรวจสอบยางรถยนต์พบว่าผลผลิตไม่ได้ตามเป้าหมายที่กำหนด ดังนั้นงานวิจัยฉบับนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเพิ่มอัตราผลผลิตของการตรวจสอบยางรถยนต์ โดยมุ่งเน้นในการปรับปรุงรอบเวลา (Cycle time) การตรวจสอบยางรถยนต์ ให้ลดลง ซึ่งใช้หลักการการศึกษางานและเวลา วิเคราะห์กระบวนการทำงานจากแผนผังสายธารแห่งคุณค่า (Value Stream Mapping) และบ่งชี้กิจกรรมที่ไม่ก่อเกิดมูลค่าเพิ่ม (Non-value-added) ที่ส่งผลต่อกระบวนการทำงาน จากนั้นจึงนำหลักการ ECRS เป็นเครื่องมือในการวิเคราะห์และลดกิจกรรมที่สูญเปล่าจากกระบวนการทำงาน จากการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลพบว่าในกระบวนการทำงานมีการทำงานที่ซ้ำซ้อน การขนส่งที่ไม่จำเป็น และท่าทางการเคลื่อนไหวในกระบวนการผลิตที่เป็นกิจกรรมที่ไม่ก่อเกิดมูลค่าเพิ่ม ซึ่งทำให้อัตราผลผลิตลดลง ส่งผลให้รอบเวลาสำหรับการตรวจสอบยางรถยนต์มากขึ้นเมื่อเทียบกับเป้าหมาย หลังจากได้ทำการปรับปรุงการทำงานจากการลดกิจกรรมที่ไม่ก่อเกิดมูลค่าเพิ่ม สามารถลดขั้นตอนของกระบวนการตรวจสอบยางรถยนต์เกรด A จากเดิม 17 ขั้นตอน เป็น 14 ขั้นตอน กระบวนการตรวจสอบยางรถยนต์เกรด B จากเดิม 18 ขั้นตอน เป็น 15 ขั้นตอน กระบวนการตรวจสอบยางรถยนต์เกรด C จากเดิม 26 ขั้นตอน เป็น 23 ขั้นตอนและกระบวนการตรวจสอบยางรถยนต์เกรด D จากเดิม 27 ขั้นตอน เป็น 26 ขั้นตอน โดยจากการลดขั้นตอนการทำงานทำให้รอบเวลาการตรวจสอบยางรถยนต์จากเดิมเฉลี่ย 77 เซ็นตินาที (47.40 วินาที) ต่อเส้น เป็น 69 เซ็นตินาที (39.60 วินาที)ต่อเส้น หรือคิดเป็น 16.46 เปอร์เซ็นต์ โดย 1 วินาที จะเท่ากับ 0.6 เซ็นตินาที ส่งผลให้พนักงานตรวจสอบยางรถยนต์ได้มากขึ้นจากเดิม 288 เส้นต่อคนต่อวัน เป็น 316 เส้นต่อคนต่อวัน

ที่มาและความสำคัญ: ผู้ป่วยที่มีภาวะหัวใจห้องบนเต้นผิดจังหวะแบบสั่นระริกที่ไม่ได้เกิดจากลิ้นหัวใจผิดปกติในประเทศไทย และในประเทศต่างๆของทวีปเอเชียซึ่งมีปัญหาในแง่เศรษฐานะ โดยส่วนใหญ่จะได้รับการรักษาด้วยยาวาร์ฟาริน เพื่อป้องกันการเกิดหลอดเลือดสมองอุดตัน และภาวะลิ่มเลือดหลุดลอยไปอุดตันหลอดเลือดแดงต่างๆ โดยพบว่าประสิทธิภาพของยาวาร์ฟารินขึ้นกับค่าของ Time in therapeutic range (TTR) และพบว่าค่า TTR ที่น้อยกว่าร้อยละ 65 จะทำให้ประสิทธิภาพของยาวาร์ฟารินลดลงอย่างมาก ในปัจจุบันมีการใช้คะแนน SAMe-TT2R2 ในการพยากรณ์ค่า TTR แต่การศึกษาส่วนใหญ่เป็นการศึกษาในประชากรผิวขาว และพบว่าคะแนนSAMe-TT2R2 ให้คะแนนคนเอเชียเริ่มที่ 2 คะแนนตั้งแต่ต้น ดังนั้นจากปัจจัยด้านเชื้อชาติ อาจส่งผลทำให้การประเมินผู้ป่วยที่จะไม่ได้ประสิทธิภาพจากยาวาร์ฟารินมากเกินความเป็นจริง วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาหาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการพยากรณ์การใช้ยาวาร์ฟารินที่ไม่ได้ประสิทธิภาพ (โดยมีค่า TTR ที่น้อยกว่าร้อยละ 65)ในคนไทยที่มีภาวะหัวใจห้องบนเต้นผิดจังหวะแบบสั่นระริกที่ไม่ได้เกิดจากลิ้นหัวใจผิดปกติ และหา New scoring system ขึ้นมาใหม่ เพื่อใช้พยากรณ์การใช้ยาวาร์ฟารินที่ไม่ได้ประสิทธิภาพ (โดยมีค่า TTR ที่น้อยกว่าร้อยละ 65) และเปรียบเทียบ New scoring system กับคะแนนSAMe-TT2R2 ในการพยากรณ์การใช้ยาวาร์ฟารินที่ไม่ได้ประสิทธิภาพ ในคนไทยที่มีภาวะหัวใจห้องบนเต้นผิดจังหวะแบบสั่นระริกที่ไม่ได้เกิดจากลิ้นหัวใจผิดปกติ ระเบียบวิธีวิจัย: ทำการศึกษาแบบทบทวนย้อนหลังจากเวชระเบียนผู้ป่วยนอกและในโรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ โดยรวบรวมผู้ป่วยภาวะหัวใจห้องบนเต้นผิดจังหวะแบบสั่นระริกที่ไม่ได้เกิดจากลิ้นหัวใจผิดปกติที่ได้รับการรักษาด้วยยาวาร์ฟารินทุกราย ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม พ.ศ.2557 ถึงวันที่ 31 ธันวาคม พ.ศ.2561 ในงานวิจัยนี้จะคำนวณค่า TTR ด้วย Rosendaal's Method และ ใช้ค่า TTR ที่น้อยกว่าร้อยละ 65 เพื่อบ่งบอกถึงการใช้ยาวาร์ฟารินที่ไม่ได้ประสิทธิภาพ ผลการศึกษา: ผู้ป่วยภาวะหัวใจห้องบนเต้นผิดจังหวะแบบสั่นระริกที่ไม่ได้เกิดจากลิ้นหัวใจผิดปกติที่ได้รับการรักษาด้วยยาวาร์ฟารินที่เข้ามาในงานวิจัยมีทั้งหมด 864 คน มีค่าเฉลี่ยอายุ 73.6 ± 11.58 ปี มีค่าเฉลี่ยค่า TTR คิดเป็นร้อยละ 48.1 ± 25.2 และพบว่าผู้ป่วย 637 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 73.7 ที่มีค่า TTR น้อยกว่าร้อยละ 65 จากการวิเคราะห์หาปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับการพยากรณ์การใช้ยาวาร์ฟารินที่ไม่ได้ประสิทธิภาพ (TTRน้อยกว่าร้อยละ 65) …
