The Khao Noi volcanics is in Tha Takiap district, Chachoengsao province, eastern Thailand. This volcanics is a part of the Lampang volcanic belt, a potential host rocks for mineralizations, especially gold and antimony epithermal style deposits. Based on field investigation, drill core logging, and petrographic study, the Khao Noi host volcanic sequence has a thickness of at least 150 meters. The sequence can be divided into three units, namely 1) Sedimentary unit (Unit 1), 2) Mafic-intermediate volcanic unit (Unit 2), and 3) Felsic volcanic unit (Unit 3). This study aimed to investigate the effect of selected fibres on pasting as well as short-term and long-term retrogradation of starch in wheat flour and to investigate the quality of fibre-added white pan breads. Two soluble fibres, tara gum (TG) and k-carrageenan (CAR), and one insoluble fibre, cellulose (CEL), were added to wheat flour at different levels (1.0, 1.5 and 2.0%). Regarding pasting behaviour, addition of soluble fibres was found to cause an increase in peak, trough, breakdown, and final viscosity. Arsenic is one of the contaminants in wastewater which becomes a worldwide environmental problem. Therefore, several simple and cost-effective techniques have been developed for arsenic removal. This study reports on the removal of arsenic by coprecipitation method with variable combinations of the well-known metal salts, such as FeCl3 or AlCl3 with the environmentally friendly inorganic metal salts, such as MgCl2 or CaCl2, which is called "mixed metal system". Chitosan (CTS) has been widely applied as a fruit coating in commercial fruit crops to prolong their shelf-life. In the present research, chitosan coatings were applied on ‘Hom Thong’ banana fruit, an important exported cultivar of Thailand. Postharvest qualities of ‘Hom Thong’ banana were measured after coating with 1% (w/v) low molecular weight (LMW-CTS: 65 kDa), medium molecular weight (MMW-CTS: 265 kDa), and high molecular weight (HMW-CTS: 540 kDa) chitosan for 1 min. A cross-sectional survey designed to investigate intention to stay (ITS) of nurses (RNs) in public hospitals under the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) and to compare the intention to stay among nurses in various hospital types of care delivery of organizational characteristics, nurse characteristics, managerial characteristics, and work characteristics. The multi-stage sampling technique was used to recruit 1,524 nurses from in-patient units of 59 public hospitals under MOPH. The screen-printing technique has been widely applied in electronic manufacturing field. In this work, graphite is used for fabricating conductive patterns by screen-printing technique. Moreover, enhance the performance of electrical conductivity by electroless plating and electroplating techniques. The study was separated into two parts. Firstly, optimize the mass ratio between graphite and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). In prepared ink from varied mass ratio; 2.0:0.1, 2:0.2, and 2:0.3 respectively. Interaction between particles and different surfaces under ambient condition is studied using AFM-based force spectroscopy. This work focuses on the adhesion mechanism and factors affecting particle-surface adhesion. The particles of interest consist of magnesium silicate (talcum powder) and zinc oxide (ZnO) particles, which have very attractive properties and are widely used in several applications. The adhesion force measurements were first carried out using silicon/silicon coated with DLC probes pressed on talc particles modified with hydrochloric acid or different organosilanes. In this present work, the deoxygenation of palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD) to green diesel over γ-Al2O3 supported bimetallic CoMo and NiMo carbide and nitride catalysts was conducted in a trickle bed reactor. The catalysts were prepared by a single-step decomposition method of mixture containing hexamethylenetetramine and corresponding metal salts in presence of hydrogen and nitrogen for carbide and nitride forms, respectively at 700 oC. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) is the massively parallel sequencing technology that has revolutionized biological sciences. Currently, microorganism genomes have been widely studied using NGS. However, the lack of details in the draft or reference genome is a common problem in genome analysis. Therefore, this study aims to develop genome analysis pipelines for eukaryotic and prokaryotic microorganisms using public bioinformatics software and public databases. Given no gold standard for diagnosis, early identification of TB infection has been challenging. This study aimed to comparatively investigate the prevalence of TB across diagnostic approaches (sputum AFB, sputum culture, sputum genetic test, and chest x-ray) and geographical areas in Indonesia. Managing for sonographic focally thick duct lesions is not established in practice guidelines. Most cases showed scant cells on fine-needle aspiration (FNA). The study aimed to detect any variables that could predict proliferative lesions of the ducts and avoid unnecessary biopsies. A retrospective cohort design was done to analyze the association between ultrasound (US) variables and the outcome of proliferative or non-proliferative ductal lesions, determined by corresponding histopathology or cytology on consecutive follow-ups for at least three years. The key barrier in leptospirosis diagnosis is a lack of available sensitive point-of-care testing. Therefore, we aimed to develop and validate nucleic acid lateral flow immunoassay (NALFIA) and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat (CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 12a (CRISPR/Cas12a) platform combined with isothermal amplification to detect leptospires from extracted patients' DNA samples. A recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA)-NALFIA and RPA-CRISPR/Cas12a assay was designed to detect the LipL32, SecY and lfb1 genes of pathogenic Leptospira spp. The RPA-NALFIA targeting LipL32 observed the LOD at 105 copies/reaction. In the development of a bioink for cartilage 3D printing, Hyaluronic acid (HA), Alginate (Alg) were modified into amine-hyaluronic acid (HA-NH2) and aldehyde alginate (Alg-CHO). Magnetic Nuclear Resonance (NMR) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) confirmed the successful modification of HA-NH2 and Alg-CHO. The hydrogel HA-Alg was crosslinked as a result of Schiff's base reaction, between primary amines and aldehydes to form imine bonds. By varying volume ratios, the optimal hydrogel HA-Alg (5:5) exhibited its printability, biocompatibility, and functionality as a bioink for cartilage tissue. Objectives: The primary objective was to study the anaนาlgesic efficacy of perineural dexmedetomidine with bupivacaine in adductor canal block (ACB) in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA) and the secondary objectives were to investigate the ambulation ability and the side effects. Materials and Methods: Sixty patients aged 18-85 years, ASA status I-III underwent primary, unilateral TKA under spinal anesthesia. They were randomized into 2 groups; Group C received 20 ml 0.25% bupivacaine and Group D received 20 ml 0.25% bupivacaine plus 0.5 mcg/kg dexmedetomidine for ACB.
