Papaya fruit (Carica papaya L.) belonging to Caricaceae family is recognized as a good source of dietary fiber and antioxidants. The objective of this study was to develop the unripe papaya flour (UPF) from waste fruit product. The study was also investigated physicochemical, functional properties of UPF and its addition of pancake. First, the small pieces of unripe papaya were heated by hot air oven, then ground by using a high-speed universal grinder and sieved through a 100-mesh sieve. This study was conducted to investigate the antioxidant and antimutagenic activity of Zanthoxylum limonella seed extract and that of Z. limonella pericarp extract. The total phenolic contents and antioxidant activity assay including DPPH assay and FRAP assay were performed. The results showed that the antioxidant activity of pericarp extract was higher than that of the seed extract. The purposes of this study were to establish a database of the carbohydrate content of medications and investigate carbohydrate content of medications in epileptic children treated with ketogenic diet (KD) at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. One hundred sixty-nine KD order forms in 3 events (KD initiation, follow-up visit, and hospital re-admission) for epileptic children whose aged younger than 18 years old during 2009-2017 were selected. Low Salinity Waterflooding (LSWF) has been intensively studied worldwide as it is a low-cost technique. By injecting water with very low salinity compared to formation water in the reservoir, the method changes equilibrium between rock surface, oil and surrounding water, causing wettability alteration through Multi-component Ion Exchange (MIE) mechanism. In this study, ammonium ion is added into low salinity water to facilitate the MIE mechanism in shaly-sandstones reservoir. Background: The timing of initiation of renal replacement therapy (RRT) in severe acute kidney injury (AKI) remains controversial, with early initiation resulting in unnecessary therapy for some patients while expectant therapy may delay RRT for other patients. The furosemide stress test (FST) has been shown to predict the need for RRT and therefore could be used to exclude low-risk patients from enrollment in trials of RRT timing. This descriptive correlational study aimed to identify the predicting factors and to examine direct and indirect relationships of preschoolers' parental feeding behaviors (PFB), urban Thailand. The conceptual framework was developed guided by Orem's self-care theory. A Multi-stage sampling was used to recruit 443 parents of preschoolers from 11 schools in Bangkok and city municipalities in all regions of Thailand. Six questionnaires demonstrated acceptable content and construct validity, and reliability were used to ask all participants to complete all questionnaires. Subjects were selected from the three MICS surveys and then pooled together to form final weighted samples of 9757 children under 2 years for studying early initiation of breastfeeding and 2568 children under 6 months for exclusive breastfeeding. Twenty-six osteoarthritic cats concurrent with chronic kidney disease (CKD) enrolled in this study. All cats were divided randomly into 2 groups; control group (n=12) received placebo and treatment group (n=14) received PCSO-524 for 60 days. Cats had verified stable CKD stage II and had treated and followed up for CKD more than 3 months were included in our study. Before starting the study (day 0), all cats were taken the coxofemoral joint radiographic imaging. Only cats with the radiographic osteoarthritic lesion(s) were recruited. น้ำมันเมล็ดมะรุมเป็นแหล่งของกรดไขมันไม่อิ่มตัวเชิงเดี่ยวที่ดี และมีฤทธิ์ทางชีวภาพสูง งานวิจัยนี้ศึกษาการสกัดน้ำมันจากกากเมล็ดมะรุมหลังการสกัดเชิงกลด้วยคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ภาวะเหนือวิกฤต โดยทำการทดลองในช่วง 40-70 องศาเซลเซียส และ 150-300 บาร์ที่อัตราการไหลคงที่ 10 กรัมต่อนาที เป็นเวลา 300 นาที ในเครื่องสกัดขนาด 130 มิลลิลิตร ร้อยละผลได้น้ำมันของเมล็ดมะรุมโดยใช้เครื่องอัดสกรูเดี่ยว คือ ร้อยละ 12.50 กากเมล็ดมะรุมมีน้ำมันเหลือ ร้อยละ 12.31 จากการสกัดด้วยปิโตรเลียมอีเทอร์แบบซอกห์เลต ผลการศึกษาพบว่า องค์ประกอบของกรดไขมันของน้ำมันจากกากเมล็ดมะรุมที่สกัดด้วยคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ภาวะต่าง ๆ และการสกัดด้วยตัวทำละลายมีองค์ประกอบที่ใกล้เคียงกัน โดยมีกรดโอเลอิกปริมาณมากกว่าร้อยละ 80 ภาวะที่เหมาะสมสำหรับการสกัดด้วยคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ภาวะเหนือวิกฤต คือ ความดัน 300 บาร์ อุณหภูมิ 60 องศาเซลเซียส สามารถสกัดน้ำมันได้ร้อยละผลได้สูงสุด คือ ร้อยละ 10.46 ซึ่งคิดเป็นร้อยละ 84.97 ของปริมาณน้ำมันที่เหลืออยู่ในกากเมล็ดมะรุม และมีความสามารถในการละลาย คือ 9.59 กรัมน้ำมันต่อกิโลกรัมคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ นอกจากนี้ยังมีฤทธิ์ต้านอนุมูลอิสระ และฤทธิ์ต้านการอักเสบสูงสุด คือ ร้อยละ 91.02±0.62 และ 42.87±2.89 ตามลำดับ และมีปริมาณ แอลฟา-โทโคฟีรอลสูงสุด คือ 246.06 มิลลิกรัม/100 กรัมของน้ำมัน

สาร Oxyresveratrol เป็นสารสำคัญในแก่นของต้นมะหาด โดยได้มีการศึกษาถึงฤทธิ์ทางเภสัชวิทยาของสาร Oxyresveratrol ในหลายด้าน แต่อย่างไรก็ตามสาร Oxyresveratrol เป็นสารที่มีค่าชีวปริมาณออกฤทธิ์ต่ำจึงเป็นอุปสรรคที่สำคัญในการนำมาพัฒนาเป็นยารับประทาน ดังนั้นจุดประสงค์ในการศึกษานี้ เพื่อศึกษาเภสัชจลนศาสตร์ของสาร Oxyresveratrol ที่เปลี่ยนไปเมื่อให้สาร Piperine เป็นสารเพิ่มชีวปริมาณออกฤทธิ์ในหนูแรท ซึ่งขนาดที่ให้แบ่งเป็นสาร Oxyresveratrol เดี่ยวขนาด 10 mg/kg หรือ สาร Oxyresveratrol ขนาด 10 mg/kg ให้ร่วมกับสาร Piperine 1 mg/kg โดยการบริหารยาทางหลอดเลือดดำ และ สาร Oxyresveratrol เดี่ยวขนาด 100 mg/kg หรือ สาร Oxyresveratrol ขนาด 100 mg/kg ให้ร่วมกับสาร Piperine 10 mg/kg โดยการบริหารยาทางปากจากนั้นเก็บตัวอย่างเลือด, อวัยวะ, ปัสสาวะ และ อุจจาระ ตามเวลาที่กำหนดนำไปวิเคราะห์ด้วยเครื่อง LC-MS/MS เพื่อวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทางเภสัชจลนศาสตร์ จากผลการศึกษาพบว่าสาร Piperine สามารถเพิ่มค่าชีวปริมาณออกฤทธิ์ของสาร Oxyresveratrol ขึ้นประมาณ 2 เท่า รวมถึงสามารถช่วยเพิ่มค่าความเข้มข้นของสาร Oxyresveratrol สูงสุดในพลาสมาโดยการบริหารทางปากและ เมื่อคำนวณอัตราส่วนปริมาณยาในอวัยวะต่อพลาสมามีค่าประมาณ 10-100 เท่า ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับค่าปริมาณการกระจายยาที่สูง ประมาณ 50 L/kg ในกระบวนการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพของสารเมื่อได้รับร่วมกับสาร Piperine มีค่า Conversion ratio ลดลงในทั้งสองรูปแบบการบริหาร โดยสรุปสาร Piperine สามารถปรับปรุงค่าทางเภสัชจลนศาสตร์ของสาร Oxyresveratrol ได้ทั้งในทั้งสองรูปแบบการบริหารยา การศึกษาทางเภสัชจลนศาสตร์นี้จึงสามารถนำมาเป็นข้อมูลในการพัฒนาสาร Oxyresveratrol เพื่อใช้ประโยชน์ต่อไปได้

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาระยะเวลาการนอนหลับของทารกเกิดก่อนกำหนดภายหลังจำหน่ายจากโรงพยาบาล โดยศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยภายใน คือ เพศ อายุครรภ์ ประเภทของนม และปัจจัยภายนอก คือ ความเครียดของมารดา สัมพันธภาพระหว่างมารดา-ทารก รายได้ของครอบครัว และระดับการศึกษาของมารดา กับระยะเวลาการนอนหลับของทารกเกิดก่อนกำหนด กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ทารกเกิดก่อนกำหนดอายุครรภ์ 28-36 สัปดาห์ที่รับไว้ในโรงพยาบาลครั้งแรกและมารดาจำนวน 130 คู่ จากวิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือวิจัยประกอบด้วย แบบสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไปของมารดาและทารก ตารางบันทึกระยะเวลาการนอนหลับ แบบสอบถามความเครียดของมารดา และแบบสอบถามสัมพันธภาพระหว่างมารดา-ทารก ซึ่งผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหา แบบสอบถามมีค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ 0.90 และ 0.89 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน และการทดสอบไคสแควร์ ที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ .05 ผลการวิจัยสำคัญสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. ระยะเวลาการนอนหลับของทารกเกิดก่อนกำหนดอยู่ในระดับไม่เหมาะสมกับวัย ( x = 880.51 นาที/วัน, SD = 123.59) 2. เพศ ประเภทของนม และระดับการศึกษาของมารดา มีความสัมพันธ์กับระยะเวลาการนอนหลับของทารกเกิดก่อนกำหนด อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 ( 2 = 15.405, 12.438 และ 15.123 ตามลำดับ) 3. อายุครรภ์ และสัมพันธภาพระหว่างมารดา-ทารก มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับระยะเวลาการนอนหลับของทารกเกิดก่อนกำหนดอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 (r= .491 และ .265 ตามลำดับ) 4. ความเครียดของมารดา มีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับระยะเวลาการนอนหลับของทารกอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 (r= -.364) ข้อความรู้จากผลการวิจัยให้ประโยชน์ต่อการปฏิบัติการพยาบาล ในการเตรียมมารดาก่อนการจำหน่ายทารกเกิดก่อนกำหนด พยาบาลสามารถส่งเสริมระยะเวลาการนอนหลับที่เพียงพอของทารกเกิดก่อนกำหนดที่บ้าน โดยการเสริมสร้างสัมพันธภาพระหว่างมารดา-ทารก และให้มารดาเรียนรู้วิธีจัดการความเครียดที่บ้านโดยเฉพาะขณะเลี้ยงลูกด้วยนมแม่
