More effective support from family members on diabetes self-management may improve diabetes management and outcomes. กลุ่มอาการออทิซึมสเปกตรัม (Autism spectrum disorder; ASD) เป็นปัญหาสุขภาพระดับโลกที่สำคัญ โดยพบว่ามีความชุกของโรคที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้น อย่างไรก็ตามสาเหตุและกลไกในการเกิดภาวะออทิซึมสเปกตรัมยังไม่ทราบแน่ชัดอาจเกี่ยวข้องกับปัจจัยด้านพันธุกรรมและสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยปัจจุบันมีรายงานถึงบทบาทของวิตามินกับภาวะออทิซึมสเปกตรัม วัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษานี้คือศึกษาการเกิดภาวะพหุสัณฐานทางพันธุกรรมของยีนในวิถีเมทาบอลิกของวิตามินดีและความเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดภาวะออทิซึมสเปกตรัมและระดับความรุนแรงของโรคในเด็กไทย การศึกษานี้มีจำนวนอาสาสมัคร 276 ราย โดยเป็นกลุ่มเด็กที่มีภาวะออทิซึมสเปกตรัม 169 ราย และกลุ่มควบคุมเป็นเด็กที่ไม่มีโรคทางระบบประสาท 107 ราย ซึ่งได้ทำการตรวจวิเคราะห์ภาวะพหุสัณฐานทางพันธุกรรมของยีน CYP2R1, CYP27B1, GC และ VDR โดยเทคนิค TaqMan-based real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) และตรวจวิเคราะห์ระดับวิตามินดีในกระแสเลือดโดยใช้เทคนิค Chemiluminescence Immunoassay (CLIA) โดยเด็กที่พบภาวะออทิซึมสเปกตรัมจะได้รับการตรวจระดับความรุนแรงของภาวะออทิซึมสเปกตรัมด้วย Childhood Autism Rating Scale, 2nd Edition (CARS2) โดยผลที่ได้จากการศึกษาพบว่า การเกิดภาวะพหุสัณฐานทางพันธุกรรมของยีน CYP2R1, CYP27B1, VDR และ GC (rs4588) ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการเกิดภาวะออทิซึมสเปกตรัมและความรุนแรงของอาการออทิซึมสเปกตรัม อย่างไรก็ตามการศึกษาชี้ให้เห็นว่า การเกิดภาวะพหุสัณฐานทางพันธุกรรมของยีน GC (rs7041 (A>C)) มีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญกับความเสี่ยงที่เพิ่มขึ้นต่อการเกิดภาวะออทิซึมสเปกตรัมและความรุนแรงของอาการออทิซึมสเปกตรัมด้วย โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งบุคคลที่มีการขาดระดับวิตามินดีร่วมด้วย นอกจากนี้ผลศึกษาพบว่าไอโซฟอร์มของ GC1s และ GC1s-GC1s ฟีโนไทป์มีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญกับความเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดภาวะออทิซึมสเปกตรัมตลอดจนความรุนแรงของอาการออทิซึมสเปกตรัม โดยสรุปการศึกษาวิจัยในครั้งนี้ชี้ให้เห็นว่า การเกิดภาวะพหุสัณฐานทางพันธุกรรมของยีน GC (rs7041 (A>C)) และไอโซฟอร์ม GC1s อาจเป็นตัวบ่งชี้ทางพันธุกรรมที่สามารถช่วยในการประเมินความเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดภาวะออทิซึมสเปกตรัมและความรุนแรงของอาการออทิซึมสเปกตรัมในเด็กไทยได้ในอนาคต อย่างไรก็ตามการศึกษาในอนาคตควรศึกษาในกลุ่มประชากรที่ใหญ่ขึ้นเพื่อยืนยันผลการศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้

BACKGROUND: Bronchiectasis is an increasing problem worldwide. Most of bronchiectasis are idiopathic, mainly found in elderly. Patients usually suffer from chronic daily cough and phlegm and breathlessness. FEV1 has been used in many airway diseases such as asthma, COPD, in diagnosis and evaluation of dyspnea severity. However, its correlation with dyspnea in bronchiectasis is controversial. METHODS: Bronchiectasis patients with age more than 18 years old, all diagnosed with CT scan were enrolled. Consuming alcoholic beverages is well-known to have a part in causing inflammation and obstructing the function of the digestive system, and it may lead to leaky intestines. However, the relationship between alcohol consumption and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) remains a subject of controversy continued. In general, alcohol can promote intestinal bacterial dysbiosis and also result in endotoxin release by Gram-negative bacteria. This stimulates many immune cells to produce inflammatory cytokines in the gut. การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1. ศึกษากรอบแนวคิดของการพัฒนาผู้บริหารโรงเรียน และสมรรถนะนักการศึกษาปฐมวัยมืออาชีพ 2. ศึกษาระดับสมรรถนะนักการศึกษาปฐมวัยมืออาชีพของผู้บริหารโรงเรียน 3. ศึกษาความต้องการจำเป็นของการพัฒนาผู้บริหารโรงเรียนตามแนวคิดสมรรถนะนักการศึกษาปฐมวัยมืออาชีพ และ 4. พัฒนานวัตกรรมการพัฒนาผู้บริหารโรงเรียนตามแนวคิดสมรรถนะนักการศึกษาปฐมวัยมืออาชีพ โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยแบบผสมวิธีพหุระยะ แบ่งเป็น 4 ระยะ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ โรงเรียนที่มีการจัดการศึกษาในระดับปฐมวัย สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน จำนวน 394 โรงเรียน จากประชากรทั้งหมดจำนวน 25,893 โรงเรียน โดยใช้วิธีสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบหลายขั้นตอน ผู้ให้ข้อมูลในการตอบแบบประเมินและแบบสอบถาม คือ ผู้อำนวยการสถานศึกษา จำนวน 330 คน และ 320 คน ตามลำดับ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบประเมิน แบบสอบถาม แบบสัมภาษณ์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการคำนวณความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา และความต้องการจำเป็น ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1. กรอบแนวคิดของการพัฒนาผู้บริหารโรงเรียน ประกอบด้วย 2 รูปแบบการพัฒนาคือ 1) การพัฒนาระหว่างเวลาการปฏิบัติงาน ได้แก่ การเรียนรู้จากการปฏิบัติจริง การมอบหมายงาน การหมุนเวียนงาน การทำงานร่วมกับองค์กรหรือชุมชนอื่น ๆ การสอนงานและการเป็นพี่เลี้ยง และ 2) การพัฒนานอกเวลาการปฏิบัติงาน ได้แก่ การเรียนในชั้นเรียนหรือคอร์สเรียนต่าง ๆ การเรียนรู้ด้วยตนเอง การเข้าร่วมประชุม/ฝึกอบรม/สัมมนา สถานการณ์จำลอง/บทบาทสมมติ การทัศนศึกษา/การเยี่ยมชม การแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้จากชุมชนแห่งการปฏิบัติ กรอบแนวคิดสมรรถนะนักการศึกษาปฐมวัยมืออาชีพ ประกอบด้วย 1) ความสามารถด้านการส่งเสริมการดูแลและพัฒนาเด็กปฐมวัย 2) ความสามารถด้านการพัฒนาหลักสูตรและสภาพแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้สำหรับเด็กปฐมวัย 3) ความสามารถด้านการจัดการระบบการสังเกต คัดกรอง การวัดและประเมินผล และการจัดทำสารนิทัศน์สำหรับเด็กปฐมวัย 4) ความสามารถด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ ความปลอดภัย และโภชนาการสำหรับเด็กปฐมวัย 5) ความสามารถด้านการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ ปฏิสัมพันธ์ และการแนะแนวเด็กปฐมวัยและครอบครัว 6) ความสามารถด้านการสร้างการมีส่วนร่วมของครอบครัวและชุมชนในการพัฒนาเด็กปฐมวัย 7) ความสามารถด้านการมีภาวะผู้นำทางการศึกษาปฐมวัย 8) ความสามารถด้านการพัฒนาทางวิชาชีพปฐมวัย 9) …

Objective Up to 50% of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) experience breathing pattern disorders (BPD). The diaphragmatic dysfunction associated with COPD has been associated with balance impairment, and improved diaphragmatic breathing has been preliminarily associated with improved static balance and marching in place. ปัจจุบันโรคไขมันพอกตับชนิดที่ไม่ได้เกิดจากแอลกอฮอล์ไม่มียามาตรฐานในประเทศไทยที่ใช้ในการรักษา จึงมักแนะนำให้ปรับเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรม โดยเน้นไปที่การออกกำลังกาย และการควบคุมการรับประทานอาหาร การศึกษาครั้งนี้มี วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลของการฝึกแอโรบิกแบบหนักสลับเบา (HIIT) ต่อการลดลงของไขมันและพังผืดใน ตับในผู้ที่มีภาวะน้ำหนักตัวเกินและภาวะอ้วนร่วมกับโรคไขมันพอกตับชนิดที่ไม่ได้เกิดจากแอลกอฮอล์ เป็นระยะเวลา 3 เดือน ในอาสาสมัครเพศชายและเพศหญิง จำนวน 29 คน อายุ 18-60 ปี มีดัชนีมวลกาย 23-34.9 กิโลกรัมต่อเมตร2 แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลอง 15 คน (อายุเฉลี่ย 37.87 ± 7.58 ปี) และกลุ่มควบคุม 14 คน (อายุเฉลี่ย 42.29 ± 9.36 ปี) ทั้ง 2 กลุ่มมีข้อมูลพื้นฐานไม่แตกต่าง โดยกลุ่มทดลองฝึกออกกำลังกายแบบ HIIT ด้วยการปั่นจักรยาน 3 วันต่อสัปดาห์ และทั้ง 2 กลุ่มมีการคุมอาหารเหมือนกัน โดยมีนักกำหนดอาหารคอยควบคุม ผลการศึกษาพบว่า อาสาสมัครทั้ง 2 กลุ่มสามารถลดไขมันพอกตับได้ (HIIT; -23.67 ± 31.51 dB/m (p = 0.01) vs. Control; -20.21 ± 32.91 dB/m (p = 0.04)) แต่ไม่พบความแตกต่างระหว่างกลุ่ม (p = 0.66) และไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงของพังผืดตับในแต่ละกลุ่มและระหว่างกลุ่ม ( all p>0.05) มีเพียงกลุ่มทดลองที่สามารถลดมวลไขมัน (–0.74 ± 1.22 kg, p = 0.03) เปอร์เซ็นไขมัน (-0.69 ± 1.10 %, p = 0.03) visceral fat area (–4.41 …

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงทดลองทางคลินิก (Clinical Trial) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาดัชนีน้ำตาลและมวลน้ำตาลในขนมหวานที่มีชื่อเสียงประจำจังหวัดในประเทศไทย โดยรายชื่อขนมหวานได้รับการคัดเลือกจากการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) ให้เป็นขนมหวานประจำจังหวัด 10 ชนิด ได้แก่ โรตีสายไหม ข้ามหลาม เฉาก๊วย ข้าวแต๋นน้ำแตงโม ขนมโมจิ กะละแม ขนมหม้อแกง ขนมปังชีสเชคสับปะรด กะหรี่ปั๊บ และขนมสาลี่ จากร้านค้าผู้ผลิตและจำหน่ายที่เป็นที่นิยมของนักท่องเที่ยวประจำจังหวัด 3 อันดับแรก 10 จังหวัด จำนวน 30 ร้านค้า วิเคราะห์คุณค่าทางโภชนาการ ด้วยวิธี High performance liquid chromatography method วิเคราะห์การปนเปื้อน เพื่อตรวจสอบคุณภาพความปลอดภัยของขนมหวานทางกายภาพและจุลชีววิทยา ด้วยวิธี High performance liquid chromatography method, Total plate count และ Yeast and Mold count ตามลำดับ และศึกษาวัดค่าดัชนีน้ำตาลและมวลน้ำตาลในขนมหวาน ด้วยวิธีเก็บตัวอย่างเลือดในอาสาสมัครสุขภาพดี จำนวน 96 คน สุ่มอาสาสมัครเป็น 8 กลุ่มๆ ล่ะ 12 คน หลังรับประทานขนมหวานที่มีปริมาณคาร์โบไฮเดรต 50 กรัม (1 หน่วยบริโภค) เปรียบเทียบกับสารละลายน้ำตาลกลูโคสมาตรฐาน (Baseline) เพื่อหาระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดที่เวลา 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 และ 120 นาที ผลการศึกษาพบว่า คุณค่าทางโภชนาการของขนมหวานให้พลังงาน คาร์โบไฮเดรตและน้ำตาลค่อนข้างสูง มีขนมหวานที่ผ่านเกณฑ์คุณภาพความปลอดภัย จำนวน 8 ชนิด ได้แก่ โรตีสายไหม ข้าวหลาม ข้าวแต๋นน้ำแตงโม ขนมโมจิ ขนมหม้อแกง ขนมปังชีสเชคสับปะรด กะหรี่ปั๊บ และขนมสาลี่ มีค่าดัชนีน้ำตาล (Glycemic Index; GI) ในขนมหวาน …

Red tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) is a prominent freshwater fish in Thai aquaculture. It has long been afflicted by severe bacterial diseases, ulcerative syndrome, and hemorrhagic septicemia, primarily caused by Aeromonas veronii. Vaccination is a key strategy for control and prevention. In this study a chitosan nano-immersion vaccine has been developed using a nanoemulsion technique and surface modification method with chitosan polymers. The physicochemical properties, mucoadhesive properties, immune response assays, and vaccine efficacy were investigated. The results showed that the vaccine is spherical-shaped, nanometer-sized, and having monodispersed positive charge. The study aimed to develop a probiotic beverage using gac fruit and assess its characteristics and functional properties related to gut health through probiotic lactic acid fermentation. Gac juice (GJ) at 5–10 g/100 g was fermented with Lactobacillus paracasei subsp. paracasei (L. CASEI 431®), and various aspects were explored, including probiotic viability, physicochemical properties, phytochemicals, antioxidant activity, functional properties, volatile flavor compounds, and sensory acceptability of fermented GJ (FGJ). Pomelo fruit contains prebiotic and bioactive components which makes it a promising substrate for non-dairy probiotic beverages. The study investigated the potential of fermenting five pomelo cultivars with Lactobacillus paracasei for non-dairy probiotic beverages. Fermentation enhanced lactic acid bacteria (8.80–9.28 log CFU/ml), organic acids, polyphenols, flavonoids, and antioxidant activity, disrupting cholesterol micellization and inhibiting pancreatic lipase. Some cultivars showed improved volatile compounds and sensory scores post-fermentation. This study evaluated M1 and M2 macrophage polarization in human periapical cysts and granulomas through an immunohistochemical analysis and investigated the correlation between the macrophage polarization and histopathological diagnosis, clinical features and lesion volume using cone-beam computed tomography. The periapical biopsies histopathologically diagnosed as radicular cyst (n=52) and periapical granuloma (n=51) were analyzed by immunohistochemical method. Progesterone receptor (PR) extranuclear signaling mediates mainly through PR polyproline domain (PPD) interaction with SH3 domain of cytoplasmic signaling molecules. PR-PPD interfered with Grb2-SOS binding through SH3 interaction resulting in decreased cell proliferation and correlates with a good prognosis in PR positive breast cancer. Grb2 is a key adaptor molecule and expressed in both nucleus and cytoplasm. We hypothesized that change in Grb2 localization alters PR transcription resulting in better clinical outcomes in PR positive breast cancer. This study compared the number of postural shifts and body perceived discomfort while leaning and sitting on air-filled seat cushion for 1-hour in healthy office workers. This study aimed to investigate the contamination of third-generation cephalosporin (3GC)-resistant Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Enterococcus faecalis, and E. faecium in commercial raw meat-based diets (RMBDs) for cats and dogs in Thailand. Fifty RMBD products from ten brands were included for total plate count and bacterial isolation. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing was conducted for the targeted bacteria. Extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) production and the presence of blaCTX-M and mcr genes were detected. Additionally, E. coli phylogroups and Salmonella serovars were identified. The quality of bone healing is an important factor in dental implant treatment. Currently, there is only limited research on using mRNA encoding BMP-2 to improve the quality and quantity of bone. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of bone healing in rat femur defect after delivery of dPBS, rhBMP-2 and mRNA-encoding BMP-2 (BMP-2 mRNA-LNP). โรคไขมันพอกตับเป็นหนึ่งในสาเหตุหลักของโรคตับอักเสบเรื้อรังที่สามารถดำเนินโรคไปสู่โรคมะเร็งตับได้ ความชุกของโรคไขมันพอกตับในประเทศไทยพบประมาณร้อยละ 20-30 สาเหตุของการเกิดไขมันพอกตับที่พบบ่อยได้แก่โรคอ้วน เบาหวาน กลุ่มโรคเมตาบอลิกและปัจจัยทางพันธุกรรม การศึกษาที่ผ่านมาพบว่ามียีนหลายตำแหน่งที่มีบทบาทเกี่ยวข้องกับกลไกการเกิดโรค ที่สำคัญได้แก่ PNPLA3, TM6SF2 และ HSD17B13 งานวิจัยนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อหาความสัมพันธ์ของความหลากหลายทางพันธุกรรมของยีนดังกล่าวกับการเกิดโรคไขมันพอกตับในคนไทย โดยศึกษาจีโนไทป์ของทั้งสามยีนด้วยเทคนิค TaqMan Real-time PCR จากตัวอย่างเลือด 900 ตัวอย่างของ 4 กลุ่มได้แก่ กลุ่มควบคุมที่มีสุขภาพดี ผู้ป่วยโรคไขมันพอกตับที่มีและไม่มีการติดเชื้อเอชไอวี และกลุ่มผู้ป่วยมะเร็งตับ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าจีโนไทป์ GG ของยีน PNPLA3 rs738409 เป็นปัจจัยเสี่ยงของการเกิดโรคไขมันพอกตับในทุกกลุ่มที่ศึกษาเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับกลุ่มควบคุม ดังนี้ กลุ่มผู้ป่วยที่ไม่มีการติดเชื้อเอชไอวี [odds ratio (OR)=6.52, 95% confidence interval (CI) 2.64-16.08, P<0.001] กลุ่มผู้ป่วยที่มีการติดเชื้อเอชไอวี(OR=2.76, 95% CI 1.09-7.00, P=0.03) และกลุ่มผู้ป่วยมะเร็งตับ (OR=9.96, 95% CI 4.06-24.44, P<0.001) อย่างไรก็ตามไม่ พบความสัมพันธ์ของยีน TM6SF2 rs58542926 และ HSD17B13 rs6834314 กับการเกิดโรคของ กลุ่มตัวอย่างต่างๆ จากการวิเคราะห์หาปัจจัยเสี่ยงอิสระด้วยสมการถดถอยพบว่า ค่าดัชนีมวลกาย ที่สูง โรคเบาหวาน ระดับเอนไซม์ALT ที่สูงและการไม่ติดเชื้อเอชไอวีเป็นปัจจัยเสี่ยงในการทำให้ เกิดความรุนแรงในการสะสมไขมันในตับ โดยสรุปผลการวิจัยนี้พบว่าความหลากหลายทาง พันธุกรรมของ PNPLA3 มีความสัมพันธ์กับการเกิดโรคไขมันพอกตับและเพิ่มความเสี่ยงต่อการเกิด โรคมะเร็งตับในประชากรไทย แต่ไม่พบความสัมพันธ์ดังกล่าวสำหรับยีน TM6SF2 และ HSD17B13

Human serum albumin (HSA), primarily derived from human plasma, is limited by supply constraints and safety concerns due to potential contamination with blood-borne pathogens. Given the global shortage, hundreds of tons of HSA are required for clinical and cell culture applications. To address this, our study explored the production of recombinant HSA using Nicotiana benthamiana as an alternative production platform. The transient expression of recombinant HSA in plants was optimized by adjusting the harvesting days, plants aged and the OD600 of Agrobacterium.
