The study was aimed at promoting the acquisition of adjective + preposition collocations of L1 Thai learners of English through a cooperative corpus consultation. User Expectations Of Interpreters : A Qualitative Study Of Three User Groups In Thailand ; Patent Litigation, Public Health, And Cultural Heritage, Patricka Chulamokha

This research is an explorative study into the user expectations of interpreters in the domains of Patent Litigation, Public Health, and Cultural Heritage in Thailand. The study attempts to determine the importance of the accurate interpretation of terms in these highly-specialized fields with specific technical (in the case of court and medical interpreting) and cultural terminology. The researcher also attempts to identify user preferences for extra-linguistic features in interpreters. Results show that participants rated the delivery of the key message as higher priority than the translation of terminology. สารนิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มุ่งศึกษาทฤษฎีการแปลและแนวทางการแปลวรรณกรรม เพื่อถ่ายทอดวัจนลีลาของตัวละครเอกในเรื่อง Room ของเอ็มมา โดโนฮิว ผู้วิจัยมีจุดประสงค์ที่จะถ่ายทอดบทแปลที่มีสมมูลภาพทางความหมายและอรรถรสเทียบเคียงกับต้นฉบับ และหาวิธีการแก้ไขปัญหาการแปลลักษณะภาษาและวัจนลีลาที่ผิดแปร่ง ซึ่งเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของตัวละครเอกในเรื่อง จากการศึกษาครั้งนี้พบว่า แนวทางการวิเคราะห์ตัวบทของคริสติอาเน นอร์ด และแนวทางการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบนวนิยายของ คาร์ล เอ็ม ทอมลินสัน และแครอล ลินช์-บราวน์ ช่วยให้ผู้วิจัยสามารถวิเคราะห์ตัวบทต้นฉบับได้ละเอียดและครบถ้วนมากยิ่งขึ้น ทำให้ผู้วิจัยเข้าใจสารที่ผู้ส่งสารต้องการสื่อก่อนทำการถ่ายทอดไปสู่บทแปลในภาษาปลายทาง แนวทางการแปลแบบตีความของฌอง เดอลีล ช่วยให้ผู้วิจัยเข้าใจความหมายที่แท้จริงในวาทกรรมนั้นๆ ซึ่งทำให้ถ่ายทอดความหมายได้อย่างถูกต้องและเหมาะสม นอกจากนี้ยังมีความสำคัญมากในการตรวจสอบบทแปล ทฤษฎีพัฒนาการทางสติปัญญา ของ ชอง เพียเจต์ ในขั้นก่อนปฏิบัติการคิด ของเด็กตั้งแต่อายุ 2-7 ปี ช่วยให้ผู้วิจัยเข้าใจสภาพอปกติของตัวละครที่สื่อออกมาผ่านทางภาษาและลักษณะความคิด ซึ่งช่วยในการถ่ายทอดลักษณะนั้นๆ เป็นภาษาปลายทางได้เหมาะสมยิ่งขึ้น และทฤษฎีวัจนลีลาของ อมรา ประสิทธิ์รัฐสินธุ์ ช่วยให้ผู้วิจัยถ่ายทอดอรรถรสและความหมายของบทแปลให้เทียบเคียงและมีสมมูลภาพกับต้นฉบับมากที่สุด ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นว่า ความรู้ แนวทาง และทฤษฎีข้างต้น เป็นปัจจัยที่สำคัญมากในการสร้างงานแปลที่มีคุณภาพมากที่สุดและตรงตามวัตถุประสงค์ที่ผู้วิจัยตั้งไว้

การวิจัยและพัฒนานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอนตามแนวคิดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบสอบ ร่วมกับแนวคิดการให้ข้อมูลป้อนกลับแบบ 360 องศา เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงโต้แย้งของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาบัณฑิต การดำเนินงานแบ่งเป็น 4 ระยะ คือ ระยะที่ 1 การศึกษาข้อมูลพื้นฐานเพื่อใช้ในการพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอน ระยะที่ 2 การพัฒนารูปแบบการเรียนการสอนตามแนวคิดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบสอบ ร่วมกับแนวคิดการให้ข้อมูลป้อนกลับแบบ 360 องศา เพื่อส่งเสริมความสามารถในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงโต้แย้งของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาบัณฑิต ระยะที่ 3 การประเมินประสิทธิผลของรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนที่พัฒนาขึ้น โดยนำไปทดลองใช้กับนักศึกษากลุ่มตัวอย่างซึ่งเป็นนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 2 วิชาเอกภาษาอังกฤษ คณะศิลปศาสตร์ ของมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่ง จำนวน 36 คน โดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง ใช้ระยะเวลาในการทดลอง 10 สัปดาห์ สัปดาห์ละ 3 ชั่วโมง และระยะที่ 4 การนำเสนอรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนฉบับสมบูรณ์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบทดสอบความสามารถในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงโต้แย้ง และเกณฑ์ในการประเมินการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงโต้แย้ง สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าที (dependent t-test และ independent t-test) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. รูปแบบการเรียนการสอน ประกอบด้วยหลักการ 5 ข้อ ได้แก่ 1) การเรียนรู้เกิดจากการที่ผู้เรียนถูกกระตุ้นให้เกิดความสงสัยหรือเกิดความขัดแย้งทางปัญญา แล้วแสวงหาคำตอบจากแหล่งข้อมูลต่าง ๆ โดยใช้วิจารณญาณในการคิดและคัดเลือกข้อมูลด้วยตนเองเพื่อให้ได้ข้อสรุปความรู้หรือคำตอบ 2) การมีประสบการณ์ในการสังเกต วิเคราะห์ เปรียบเทียบ ตรวจสอบ และวิพากษ์วิจารณ์ข้อมูลความรู้หรือความคิดช่วยให้ผู้เรียนมีความเข้าใจที่ชัดเจนในสิ่งที่เรียนรู้ มีมุมมองการคิดสร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่หลากหลาย และส่งเสริมกลยุทธ์ทางปัญญาของผู้เรียน ซึ่งส่งผลให้ผู้เรียนสามารถพัฒนาการเรียนรู้ของตนเองได้ดีขึ้น 3) การสะท้อนคิดและการเชื่อมโยงความรู้หรือความคิดที่ค้นพบและได้รับจากรอบด้าน ช่วยให้ผู้เรียนมีกระบวนการคิดที่เป็นระบบ 4) การเรียนรู้ผ่านกระบวนการให้ข้อมูลป้อนกลับที่มีหลายมิติช่วยเสริมต่อการเรียนรู้ ผู้เรียนได้ประเมินความรู้ความสามารถทั้งของตนเองและผู้อื่น ตระหนักถึงข้อดีข้อบกพร่องของผลงาน ได้สังเคราะห์ความรู้และมีมุมมองความคิดที่หลากหลายไปใช้ในการพัฒนาการเรียนรู้และผลงาน 5) การประยุกต์ใช้ข้อมูลความรู้เดิมและความรู้ใหม่ไปใช้ในการทำงานในสถานการณ์ต่าง ๆ ได้อย่างสมเหตุสมผล ช่วยขยายหรือปรับเปลี่ยนโครงสร้างความคิดหรือความรู้ของผู้เรียน และช่วยพัฒนาการคิดในการเขียนให้มีประสิทธิภาพ โดยมี 4 ขั้นตอนหลัก ได้แก่ ขั้นตอนที่ 1 การกระตุ้นความสงสัย ขั้นตอนที่ 2 การวางแผนการสร้างความรู้ใหม่ ขั้นตอนที่ …

มีงานวิจัยจำนวนมากที่ศึกษาประเภททางไวยากรณ์เพื่อทดสอบสมมติฐานภาษาสัมพัทธ์ซึ่งกล่าวว่าผู้พูดภาษาที่มีประเภททางไวยากรณ์แตกต่างกันย่อมมีความคิดแตกต่างกันด้วย แต่งานด้านนี้ส่วนใหญ่มักทดสอบกับผู้พูดภาษาเดียว โดยมิได้คำนึงถึงผู้พูดสองภาษา เกี่ยวกับสมมติฐานภาษาสัมพัทธ์ ถึงแม้วอร์ฟมิได้กล่าวถึงผู้พูดสองภาษาโดยตรง แต่ก็พูดเป็นนัยไว้ว่าคนที่พูดได้หลายภาษามากเท่าใดก็จะมีความเป็นกลางในความคิดมากเท่านั้น ทำให้ผู้วิจัยสงสัยว่าประเภททางไวยากรณ์ที่อยู่ในตัวผู้พูดสองภาษามีอิทธิพลต่อความคิดของเขาอย่างไร นอกจากนี้ ผลงานในอดีตที่เกี่ยวกับเพศทางไวยากรณ์ในภาษารัสเซียแทบไม่มีเลย งานวิจัยนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ของการมีและไม่มีเพศทางไวยากรณ์ของคำนามกับพฤติกรรมทางปริชานด้านการจำแนกประเภทของผู้พูดภาษารัสเซีย ผู้พูดภาษาอังกฤษ และผู้พูดสองภาษารัสเซีย-อังกฤษ และเปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมทางปริชานด้านการจำแนกประเภทของผู้พูดทั้ง 3 กลุ่มเพื่อทดสอบสมมติฐานภาษาสัมพัทธ์ ผู้วิจัยมีสมมติฐานว่า ผู้พูดภาษารัสเซียซึ่งเป็นภาษาที่คำนามมีเพศทางไวยากรณ์มีพฤติกรรมทางปริชานด้านการจำแนกประเภทตามเกณฑ์เพศทางไวยากรณ์มากกว่าผู้พูดภาษาอังกฤษซึ่งเป็นภาษาที่คำนามไม่มีเพศทางไวยากรณ์ และผู้พูดสองภาษารัสเซีย-อังกฤษมีพฤติกรรมทางปริชานด้านการจำแนกประเภทตามเกณฑ์เพศทางไวยากรณ์น้อยกว่าผู้พูดภาษารัสเซียภาษาเดียวแต่มากกว่าผู้พูดภาษาอังกฤษภาษาเดียว ข้อมูลที่ใช้วิเคราะห์มาจากการทดสอบพฤติกรรมทางปริชานด้านการจำแนกประเภทสรรพสิ่ง โดยให้ผู้พูดภาษารัสเซีย 39 คน ผู้พูดภาษาอังกฤษ 30 คน และผู้พูดสองภาษารัสเซีย-อังกฤษ 54 คน ดูภาพสัตว์หรือสิ่งของชุดละ 3 ภาพและตัดสินว่าภาพใดไม่เข้าพวกกับภาพอื่นเพื่อที่จะทดสอบว่าผู้พูดแต่ละกลุ่มใช้เพศทางไวยากรณ์หรือลักษณะของสรรพสิ่งเป็นเกณฑ์ในการจำแนกประเภท ผลการทดลองพบว่าผู้พูดภาษารัสเซียจำแนกประเภทสรรพสิ่งตามเกณฑ์เพศทางไวยากรณ์มากกว่าผู้พูดภาษาอังกฤษ ซึ่งสนับสนุนสมมติฐานภาษาสัมพัทธ์ ส่วนผู้พูดสองภาษารัสเซีย-อังกฤษจำแนกประเภทสรรพสิ่งตามเกณฑ์เพศทางไวยากรณ์น้อยกว่าผู้พูดภาษารัสเซียภาษาเดียว แต่ไม่แตกต่างจากผู้พูดภาษาอังกฤษภาษาเดียวแสดงให้เห็นอิทธิพลของภาวะสองภาษา ซึ่งมีปัจจัยสำคัญคือความเชี่ยวชาญในภาษาที่สองในระดับสูง

ปริจเฉทการพูดของมัคนายกมีลักษณะเด่นเฉพาะตัวและมัคนายกใช้กลวิธีทางภาษา ที่หลากหลายเพื่อโน้มน้าวใจให้คนร่วมบริจาคเงินทำบุญ งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ องค์ประกอบการสื่อสารและกลวิธีทางภาษาในการโน้มน้าวใจในปริจเฉทการพูดของมัคนายก วัดพระอารามหลวง จังหวัดนครปฐม โดยใช้แนวคิดชาติพันธุ์วรรณนาแห่งการสื่อสารของไฮมส์ (Hymes, 1974) ข้อมูลมาจากการบันทึกเสียงการพูดสดของมัคนายกของวัดพระปฐมเจดีย์ ราชวรมหาวิหาร วัดพระงาม พระอารามหลวง และวัดไร่ขิง พระอารามหลวง จังหวัดนครปฐม การสัมภาษณ์มัคนายก การสัมภาษณ์ผู้ทำบุญ และการสังเกตการณ์อย่างมีส่วนร่วม ได้ข้อมูลจำนวน ทั้งสิ้น 35 ปริจเฉท ผลการวิจัยพบว่าองค์ประกอบการสื่อสารที่สำคัญในปริจเฉทการพูดของมัคนายก ในวัดพระอารามหลวง จังหวัดนครปฐม ได้แก่ ฉาก ผู้ร่วมเหตุการณ์ จุดมุ่งหมาย และบรรทัดฐานของ การปฏิสัมพันธ์และการตีความ ส่วนกลวิธีทางภาษาที่ใช้เพื่อการโน้มน้าวใจจำแนกได้เป็น 3 กลวิธีใหญ่ ได้แก่ กลุ่มกลวิธีการสร้างปฏิสัมพันธ์กับผู้ฟัง กลุ่มกลวิธีการบอกความสำคัญของกองบุญ และกลุ่มกลวิธีการกระตุ้นผู้ฟัง

Based on the Failed Functional Features Hypothesis (FFFH) (Hawkins and Chan, 1997), the current study aims at investigating L1 Thai learners' acquisition of the wh-operator movement in English open interrogatives. Learner Autonomy (LA) is acknowledged as being beneficial to EFL education, particularly in rural areas where resources are scarce. The current study aimed to investigate the frequency effects on the acquisition of L2 English infinitive and gerund complements among L1 Thai learners. The participants were first-year undergraduate students from They were categorized into the low and the high proficiency groups based on their CU-TEP scores. Each group consisted of 30 participants. วัตถุประสงค์หลักของการศึกษาครั้งนี้คือเพื่อนำเสนอระบบวินิจฉัยแบบอัจฉริยะสำหรับการฝึกกลยุทธ์การอ่านด้วยการเสริมต่อการเรียนรู้เพื่อยกระดับทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิชาการของนิสิตนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 เป็นการวิจัยและพัฒนา ผู้วิจัยได้สัมภาษณ์อาจารย์ผู้มีประสบการณ์การสอนสูง 6 คน เพื่อศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการจัดการเรียนการสอน และปัญหาของนิสิตนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 การสังเคราะห์ทักษะการอ่านที่วัดในข้อสอบ TOEFL ข้อสอบ IELTS และทักษะที่เป็นปัญหาของนิสิตนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 ที่ได้จากข้อมูลสัมภาษณ์พบว่า มีทักษะการอ่านที่จำเป็นสำหรับการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษเชิงวิชาการ 10 ทักษะ นำทักษะเหล่านี้มาสร้างแบบวินิจฉัยแบบปรนัย 4 ตัวเลือกเพื่อวัด 10 ทักษะ ทักษะละ 4 ข้อ รวม 40 ข้อโดยดำเนินการตามขั้นตอนต่างๆของทฤษฎีการทดสอบแบบดั้งเดิม การตรวจคะแนนทักษะใช้เกณฑ์ผ่านร้อยละ 75 หรือตอบถูกอย่างน้อย 3 จาก 4 ข้อ ของแต่ละทักษะ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้เทคนิคการสร้างเหมืองข้อมูล (data mining) และวิเคราะห์ทางสถิติโดยใช้ two-step cluster analysis นิสิตนักศึกษาที่ใช้สำหรับการเก็บข้อมูลชุดแรกคือนิสิตนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงชั้นปีที่ 1 ในภาคเรียนปลายปีการศึกษา 2558 จำนวน 279 คน เป็นข้อมูลจากคะแนนทักษะจากการสอบแบบวินิจฉัยและการตอบแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับคุณลักษณะ การวิเคราะห์ขั้นต้นสามารถแบ่งผู้เรียนได้เป็น 3 ประเภท การวิเคราะห์ในขั้นต่อมาแบ่งผู้เรียนออกเป็น 5 ประเภท การวิเคราะห์คุณลักษณะของผู้เรียนพบว่าเมื่อใช้คุณลักษณะที่สำคัญ 3 คุณลักษณะ คือ สำนักวิชาที่ศึกษา โรงเรียนที่จบชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 และคะแนน GPA มัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ทำให้ความแม่นยำในการทำนายสูงที่สุดคือ ร้อยละ 95.5 การวิเคราะห์ในขั้นสุดท้ายโดยใช้ Pearson’s Correlation พบว่ามีทักษะต่างๆ 4 กลุ่มที่มีความสัมพันธ์ซึ่งกันและกันในเชิงบวก ข้อมูลสหสัมพันธ์นี้ใช้เพื่อการกำหนดบทฝึกที่ผู้ใช้หลักหรือ lead users ที่เป็นตัวแทนของผู้เรียนแต่ละประเภทต้องฝึก เมื่อได้ผลของความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างทักษะการอ่าน 10 ทักษะและตัวแบบการอ่านเรียบร้อยแล้ว ผู้วิจัยเก็บข้อมูลชุดที่สองจากนิสิตนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 มหาวิทยาลับแม่ฟ้าหลวง ในภาคเรียนต้นปีการศึกษา 2559 จำนวน 570 คน เพื่อใช้เป็นคะแนน Pretest เมื่อนำคะแนนทักษะ (จาก 10 ทักษะ) …

ความผูกพันต่อสถานที่ (Sense of Place) คือความสัมพันธ์ที่เกิดขึ้นระหว่างคนและสถานที่ เป็นการรับรู้ผ่านขั้นพื้นฐานด้านประสาทสัมผัสทั้ง 5 ของมนุษย์ได้แก่ รูป รส กลิ่น เสียง และสัมผัส โดยที่การรับรู้เหล่านี้เป็นการสะสม ประสบการณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องทั้งวิถีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ ไปจนถึงประเพณีวัฒนธรรมที่สืบต่อกันมา ซึ่งทำให้เกิดบุคลิกเฉพาะตัวของพื้นที่นั้นๆได้ การที่สามารถถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกต่อพื้นที่นั้นออกมาได้ ก็จะสามารถเห็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวของสถานที่นั้นได้เช่นกัน เครื่องมือที่สามารถสื่อสารความรู้สึกเหล่านั้นได้ จึงต้องเป็นเครื่องมือที่สามารถถ่ายทอดระบบความคิดออกมาได้ ซึ่งภาษากราฟิกเป็นหนึ่งในเครื่องมือที่สามารถถ่ายทอดสิ่งนั้นได้จากนามธรรมเป็นรูปธรรมในรูปแบบที่เรียบง่ายผ่านขอบเขตตัวแปรหลักทั้ง 8 ตัวแปรได้แก่ ระนาบของพื้นที่ 1 และ 2 มิติ size, value, texture, color, orientation and shape โดยที่ขอบเขตเหล่านี้ทำให้เกิด Content และ Form ที่ทำให้การสื่อสารมีประสิทธิภาพได้ตามเป้าหมาย จึงทำให้ในปัจจุบันนักออกแบบหันมาสนใจแนวคิดการใช้ประสามสัมผัสทั้ง 5 ของคน มาต่อยอดสู่งานสร้างสรรค์ต่อไป
