Pyrethroids are commonly used in households and affect to nervous system in children. Data on pyrethroids exposure related to neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is unknown. This study investigated the relationship between 3-PBA metabolites and GABA concentrations, and also determined the factors influencing pyrethroids metabolites among young children in urban areas. Rang-Jued or Thunbergia laurifolia Lindl. is a species in family Thunbergiaceae. In Thailand, leaf and stem of T. laurifolia are used to treat fever, inflammation, as well as antidotes. Perilla frutescens (L.) Britton or Nga-Kee-Mon belongs to Labiatae family. The leaf of P. frutescens is used to treat allergy, fever and inflammation. Rosmarinic acid is the active compound in both plants which was used as a standard marker in this study. Objectives: As public health insurance schemes in Thailand did not included prostate cancer screening in their benefits package, this study aimed to systematically gather the effectiveness and explore the cost effectiveness of difference prostate cancer screening programs for the Thai population and find the financial impact for adapting prostate cancer strategy. The objectives of this research were to study fans loyalty, fans’ perception on crisis management of Taylor Swift, and their uses of social media and to explore the relationship among these three variables. Two hundred and twenty-three respondents who are Taylor Swift’s fans, aged between 18 and 35 years old were asked to complete an online questionnaire survey. Single fixed-time AI is the breeding protocol inseminating the sows once with either fresh or frozen-thawed (FT) semen at fixed time after ovulation induction without estrus detection. To develop the success single fixed-time AI protocol in Thailand, factors affecting the efficacy of single fixed-time AI were evaluated. Additionally, we also evaluated the effect of using lecithin in cryopreservation extender on FT semen qualities in order to find the possibility to perform single fixed-time AI using sperm preserved in lecithin based extender. Actinobacillus suis is considered an opportunistic pathogen in swine that can cause disease in animals of all ages, especially in high health status herds. The objective of this study was to developed an indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) using boiled whole cell antigen for the detection of antibody against A. suis. The selected herd has clinical problems associated with A. suis infection. Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a common complication in DMVD that can worsen the clinical signs, cardiac function, and median survival time of DMVD dogs. Over the past 40 years, heritage site management institutions have had to contend with expanding “boundaries of practice”: the evolution of heritage concepts and the emergence of global and transnational threats and broader sustainable development issues. Yet, many heritage site management institutions are still mired in conventional heritage mandates and approaches. This study looks at the ability of World Heritage site management institutions to adapt to this changing landscape. Bulk tank milk somatic cell count (BTM SCC) is worldwide acceptable as an indicator of subclinical mastitis and milk quality at the farm level. Several countries determine the BTM SCC level for quality control and milk pricing. In Thailand, BTM SCC standard is set at 500,000 cells/ml and premium milk quality is set at less than 100,000 cells/ml. Feline morbillivirus (FeMV), a relatively new virus, has been discovered in domestic cats and associated with kidney diseases since 2012 in Hong Kong. The FeMV study gained widely attentions in many countries whereas the pathogenesis remains elusive. These studies aimed to provide the FeMV knowledge in Thai domestic cat by performing the genetic-based, serological-based and pathological-based studies of FeMV-infected in Thai cats. The objectives of this study were to determine the expression of Oct-4, Nanog, and Sox-2 in both mRNA and proteins levels. The 30 biopsied MCT cases, from the Small Animal Teaching Hospital, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University, were used in this study. The samples were divided into two parts; part I, the biopsied samples were processed for paraffin section and stained with H&E stain, for grading based on Patnaik’s system and Kiupel’s system and the other part was detected the expression of Oct-4, Nanog, and Sox-2 genes. To confirm a causative allergen in atopic dogs could test through intradermal skin testing (IDT) or allergen-specific IgE serology testing (ASIS). ASIS is more practical, convenient and safer. However, the results of ASIS could be affected by source and type of allergen. Crude allergen extracts were still used in commercial testing and protein antigens of skin microbes were not included in the panel of testing. Vibrio parahaemolyticus is the leading cause of seafood borne gastroenteritis in many countries including Thailand. It is a gram-negative, halophilic bacterium which was normally found in estuarine environment and seafood. The infection usually occurred from consuming raw, inadequate cooked, or cross-contaminated seafood. Risk assessment is a scientific tool to evaluate health hazard from V. parahaemolyticus infection. In this study, a risk of V. parahaemolyticus infection from raw shrimp consumption (Litopenaeus vannamei) was conducted.
