This scoping review explores the integration of music and legacy interventions within palliative care settings. Legacy interventions, defined as methods focusing on creating personal memorabilia such as books, recordings, or storytelling, allow patients to express emotions and leave a legacy, thereby strengthening bonds with their loved ones. The review aimed to identify the types of music interventions used for conducting legacy work and to understand the experiences and perspectives of patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Material handling equipment, such as forklifts, is broadly used in many industries to increase production efficiency. However, if the equipment unexpectedly breaks down, it can potentially interrupt manufacturing. It's beneficial for the industry to monitor equipment usage data in real-time so that engineers can identify faults before they occur. In this thesis, a prototype for a factory vehicle monitoring system has been designed and implemented. More effective support from family members on diabetes self-management may improve diabetes management and outcomes. This study examines the demographic and socio-economic factors affecting labour productivity in service enterprises across Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Previous research primarily focuses on manufacturing firms, leaving a gap in understanding productivity in service firms. Human Capital And Gender Dynamics In Leadership: Analysis Of Labor Productivity And Technical Efficiency In Bangladesh, Indonesia, And Pakistan, Zun Pwint Bo Bo

This study examines the impact of human capital and gender dynamics in leadership on labor productivity and technical efficiency in firms from Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Pakistan. Using data from the World Bank Enterprise Survey, the analysis uses Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), and Tobit regression techniques. The findings reveal significant variations in labor productivity and efficiency among firms in the three countries, influenced by factors such as firm characteristics, managerial experience, workforce skill composition, and gender leadership. The results indicate that higher average wages positively impact labor productivity and technical efficiency across all three countries, supporting …

ช่างมัน และ แล้วแต่ เป็นถ้อยคำที่ชาวไทยนิยมใช้จนติดปาก ปรากฏในหลายสถานการณ์เพื่อสื่อความหมายและเจตนาที่แตกต่างกัน และน่าจะสะท้อนวิธีการมองโลกบางประการของชาวไทย งานวิจัยนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ความหมายตามปริบทและหน้าที่ทางวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์ของ ช่างมัน และ แล้วแต่ รวมทั้งวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ของ ช่างมัน และ แล้วแต่ กับปัจจัยทางสังคมวัฒนธรรม โดยใช้แนวทางวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์ชาติพันธุ์ (Ethnopragmatics) และวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์แนวปลดปล่อย (Emancipatory Pragmatics) ข้อมูลทั้งสิ้น 290 ตัวอย่างมาจากบทสนทนาในชีวิตประจำวัน บทสนทนาในสื่อ แบบสอบถาม และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ช่างมัน มีความหมายตามปริบท 7 ความหมาย ได้แก่ 1) ผู้พูดให้ผู้ฟังและ/หรือตนเองปล่อยวาง 2) ผู้พูดให้อภัยผู้ฟัง 3) ผู้พูดต้องการปล่อยเรื่องนั้นไป 4) ผู้พูดปล่อยไป เนื่องจากไม่สามารถทำอะไรได้ แม้จะไม่พอใจเรื่องนั้น 5) ผู้พูดไม่สนใจสิ่งนั้น 6) ผู้พูดยังไม่อยากคิดหรือทำเรื่องที่เอ่ยถึงในขณะนั้น และ 7) ผู้พูดไม่อยากวุ่นวายกับเรื่องนั้น และมีหน้าที่ทางวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์ 7 หน้าที่ ได้แก่ 1) เพื่อปลอบให้ผู้ฟังและ/หรือตนเองคลายกังวล 2) เพื่อตอบรับคำขอโทษ 3) เพื่อยุติการสนทนาที่มีความขัดแย้ง 4) เพื่อแสดงว่าผู้พูดไม่พอใจ 5) เพื่อแสดงว่าผู้พูดไม่สนใจ 6) เพื่อแสดงว่าผู้พูดต้องการเลื่อนหรือหยุดเรื่องนั้นไปก่อน และ 7) เพื่อแสดงว่าผู้พูดไม่ต้องการวุ่นวาย ความหมายแกนและหน้าที่หลักของ ช่างมัน คือ ผู้พูดและ/หรือผู้ฟังจะไม่นำเรื่องนั้นมากังวล ด้วยการปล่อยเรื่องเหล่านั้นไป ส่วน แล้วแต่ มีความหมายตามปริบท 4 ความหมาย ได้แก่ 1) ผู้พูดให้ผู้ฟังตัดสินใจ 2) ผู้พูดให้ผู้ฟังพิจารณาด้วยตนเอง 3) ผู้พูดปล่อยไปตามใจผู้ฟัง แม้บางกรณีจะรู้สึกไม่พอใจ และ 4) ผู้พูดไม่พอใจ เนื่องจากไม่สามารถทำอะไรได้ จึงไม่ต้องการเกี่ยวข้องกับเรื่องนั้น และมีหน้าที่ทางวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์ 4 หน้าที่ ได้แก่ 1) เพื่อแสดงว่าผู้พูดคำนึงถึงผู้ฟัง 2) เพื่อกันตนเองออกจากความรับผิดชอบต่อเรื่องนั้น 3) …

Keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS), known as dry eye syndrome, indicates an imbalance in tear film stability and homeostasis. Quantitative KCS is well diagnosed while qualitative KCS is still underdiagnosed in routine veterinary practice. This study aimed to compare the ocular surface characteristics between experimental dogs (n=20) presented with low Schirmer tear test (STT) values (1-10mm/min) and control dogs (n=20) with normal STT values (≥15mm/min). Dogs with previous treatments or diseases which effect tear production were excluded. Heat Exchanger Network (HEN) optimization is essential for achieving utility conservation and minimizing the Total Annual Cost (TAC) by maximizing heat recovery between process streams. This study investigates on single and multi-section heat integration within a caprolactam (CPL) plant, conducted in collaboration with a petrochemical company. The investigation comprehensively addresses multi-period operations, considering production rate variability at 60%, 80%, and 100% loads. Given the high prevalence of self-medication among children, drug regulatory agencies should ensure the accessibility of non-prescription drugs for children's safety, as many commonly used drugs are not entirely non-prescription. This study explores the drug classification status of commonly used self-medication drugs for children across 10 countries: the US, the UK, Canada, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Information was sourced from official drug regulatory agency websites and drug index databases. การดำเนินคดีเชิงยุทธศาสตร์เพื่อระงับการมีส่วนร่วมของสาธารณชน หรือ Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation (SLAPP) เป็นการฟ้องคดีโดยที่โจทก์ไม่ได้มุ่งเอาชนะ แต่การดำเนินคดีเป็นไปเพื่อระงับเสรีภาพในการแสดงความคิดเห็นและการแสดงออกในประเด็นประโยชน์สาธารณะที่เป็นปรปักษ์กับตน เนื่องด้วยกระบวนพิจารณาคดีของศาลที่ยาวนาน โจทก์จึงใช้กระบวนพิจารณาคดีที่ยาวนานเป็นเครื่องมือ เพราะแม้ท้ายที่สุดศาลจะพิจารณาเนื้อหาของกฎหมายสารบัญญัติแล้วยกฟ้องโจทก์ แต่จำเลยต้องเผชิญกับการต่อสู้คดีที่ยาวนานจนถูกกดดันทางอารมณ์ และท้ายที่สุดจำเลยจะยุติการแสดงความคิดเห็นในประเด็นที่เป็นประโยชน์สาธารณะไปเอง ปัญหาของการฟ้องปิดปากจึงเป็นการทำให้ประชาชนไม่กล้าที่จะแสดงความคิดเห็นในประเด็นที่เป็นประโยชน์สาธารณะ โดยเฉพาะคดีแพ่งที่โจทก์มักจะเรียกค่าเสียหายเป็นจำนวนมาก จึงเป็นการฟ้องปิดปากจำเลยด้วยเงินไปโดยปริยาย เช่นนี้ การฟ้องปิดปากจึงเป็นการละเมิดต่อเสรีภาพในการแสดงความคิดเห็นและการแสดงออกตามที่รัฐธรรมนูญซึ่งเป็นกฎหมายลำดับสูงสุดได้บัญญัติรับรองไว้ การกระทำดังกล่าวจึงไม่สมควรได้รับการคุ้มครองจากศาลดังนั้น ผู้เขียนจึงได้เสนอมาตรการทางกฎหมายในการป้องกันการดำเนินคดีที่เป็นการระงับการมีส่วนร่วมของสาธารณชนในคดีแพ่ง โดยการแก้ไขเพิ่มเติมประมวลกฎหมายวิธีพิจารณาความแพ่งโดยกำหนดมาตรการยุติคดีโดยเร็ว มาตรการทางกฎหมายดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อป้องกันมิให้มีการล่วงละเมิดเสรีภาพของบุคคลอื่นในการแสดงความคิดเห็นและการแสดงออกในประเด็นที่เป็นประโยชน์สาธารณะ โดยใช้ศาลเป็นเครื่องมือให้อีกฝ่ายตกเป็นจำเลยในลักษณะเป็นการฟ้องปิดปากที่บริษัทเอกชนหรือนายทุนมักใช้เพื่อสร้างความยุ่งยากต่อผู้ที่มีความเห็นตรงข้ามกับตน การแก้ไขเพิ่มเติมประมวลกฎหมายวิธีพิจารณาความแพ่งเพื่อป้องกันการฟ้องปิดปากจะเป็นการรับรองเสรีภาพในการแสดงความคิดเห็นและการแสดงออก แก้ปัญหาการใช้กระบวนการยุติธรรมเป็นเครื่องมือ และแก้ปัญหาคดีล้นศาลเนื่องจากมีการกำหนดกระบวนการที่ทำให้คดีเสร็จไปจากศาลโดยเร็ว

เอกัตศึกษาฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาความรับผิดในทางอาญากรณีการทำให้ทรัพย์ของผู้อื่นหรือผู้อื่นเป็นเจ้าของรวมสูญหาย ในขอบเขตความผิดอาญาฐานทำให้เสียทรัพย์ โดยผู้วิจัยมุ่งศึกษาวิวัฒนาการความผิดฐานทำให้เสียทรัพย์ องค์ประกอบความผิด แนวคิดและการตีความกฎหมายในกรณีของการทำให้ทรัพย์ของผู้อื่นหรือผู้อื่นเป็นเจ้าของรวมสูญหายไป เปรียบเทียบกับแนวคิดและมาตรการการลงโทษของกฎหมายต่างประเทศ ที่กำหนดให้การทำให้ทรัพย์ของผู้อื่นสูญหายเป็นความผิดฐานทำให้เสียทรัพย์จากการศึกษาพบว่าแนวคิดเรื่องการบังคับใช้กฎหมายอาญาความผิดฐานทำให้เสียทรัพย์ของประเทศไทย ในกรณีการทำให้ทรัพย์ของผู้อื่นหรือผู้อื่นเป็นเจ้าของรวมสูญหาย แบ่งออกเป็น 2 แนวคิด กล่าวคือ แนวคิดแรกเห็นว่า การทำให้ทรัพย์สูญหายถูกตีความว่าเป็นรูปแบบหนึ่งของการทำลาย อันเป็นลักษณะของการกระทำความผิดฐานทำให้เสียทรัพย์ แต่ในอีกแนวคิดหนึ่งเห็นว่า วัตถุประสงค์ของการลงโทษความผิดฐานทำให้เสียทรัพย์ต้องเป็นการกระทำต่อทรัพย์โดยตรงเท่านั้น จึงไม่ครอบคลุมถึงการทำให้ทรัพย์สูญหายด้วย จากปัญหานี้ทำให้การตีความกฎหมายถูกแบ่งเป็น 2 แนวทาง ไม่มีความชัดเจนแน่นอน ขัดต่อหลักประกันทางอาญา และการไม่กำหนดให้การทำให้ทรัพย์ของผู้อื่นหรือผู้อื่นเป็นเจ้าของรวมสูญหายให้เป็นความผิดอาญาที่ชัดเจน ย่อมเป็นช่องว่างทางกฎหมายที่ผู้กระทำผิดไม่ได้รับการลงโทษที่ได้สัดส่วนกับการกระทำ และผู้เสียหายไม่ได้รับความยุติธรรมจากการดำเนินคดีดังนั้นผู้วิจัยจึงขอเสนอแนะแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาความรับผิดในทางอาญากรณีการทำให้ทรัพย์ของผู้อื่นหรือผู้อื่นเป็นเจ้าของรวมสูญหาย โดยการเสนอให้เพิ่มเติม “ทำให้สูญหาย" ให้เป็นลักษณะการกระทำที่เป็นความผิดอาญาฐานทำให้เสียทรัพย์ ในประมวลกฎหมายอาญามาตรา 358 อันเป็นการขยายขอบเขตวัตถุประสงค์ที่กฎหมายมุ่งคุ้มครอง

BACKGROUND: Bronchiectasis is an increasing problem worldwide. Most of bronchiectasis are idiopathic, mainly found in elderly. Patients usually suffer from chronic daily cough and phlegm and breathlessness. FEV1 has been used in many airway diseases such as asthma, COPD, in diagnosis and evaluation of dyspnea severity. To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, alternative and sustainable fuels are receiving significant attention. One of the interesting options is dimethyl ether (DME), which can be synthesized from CO2. This research aimed to simulate DME production from CO2 by comparing indirect synthesis (two-step process) and direct synthesis (one-step process) methods. This study found that the one-step process had negative net CO2 emissions, with values of -1.16 tons CO2 per ton of DME. It also consumed less energy compared to that of the two-step process. Cymensifin A, a compound isolated from the orchid Cymbidium ensifolium, has shown promise as a novel chemotherapeutic agent in treating lung cancer. This study investigated its anticancer activity against human lung cancer cells, focusing on its ability to target p53-related pathways. The dose-dependent induction of apoptosis, as assessed by nuclear staining and Annexin V/PI flow cytometry, was shown in human lung cancer cells cultured with 5–50 μM cymensifin A for 24 h. This study investigates the relationship between bank liquidity creation, performance, and stock returns across 11 banks in Thailand from 2012 to 2021, spanning the economic crisis in Thailand and the COVID-19 pandemic. Liquidity creation measures the extent to which banks generate a money supply for the public, classified into liquidity created on the balance sheet and liquidity created both on and off the balance sheet categories. After controlling for macroeconomic and bank-specific variables, the results of a fixed-effects regression model reveal that next-period performance and stock returns deteriorate as liquidity creation levels increase. This study explores the impact of goodwill impairment avoidance on the future financial performance growth of firms listed on the Stock Exchanges of Thailand (SET). Spanning 14 years from 2008 to 2021, the research analyzes 405 observations from 124 distinct firms, utilizing multivariate regression models to uncover the relationship. The study also focuses on understanding how Big 4 auditors can impact this dynamic. The study finds evidence that firms avoiding timely goodwill impairment exhibit lower performance growth in the subsequent year. This study aimed to explore the brand experience of Thai consumers toward Let’s Relax Spa and Massage across four dimensions. Using qualitative methodology, nine participants were purposively selected for on-site and online in-depth interviews, ensuring diversity based on specific criteria. The participants, actual consumers aged 27-33, shared their experiences using open-ended questions guided by Brakus et al.'s (2009) brand experience dimensions and the 7Ps of service marketing. The findings indicated an overall positive brand experience, particularly in sensory and behavioral aspects, with outstanding experiences in sight, sound, and taste senses.
