The Influence Of Single, Two, And Three Stage Bleaching On The Opacity Of Deinked Stock, Wilbur Kite

Paper Engineering Senior Theses

"Bleaching may be defined as the alteration of coloring matter in such fashion as to cause it to reflect more true white, or the solubilizing of such coloring matter to make it possible to wash out the color substance, or both." (2) The most common method of bleaching is the oxidation of the coloring substance although reduction with ZnS2O is sometimes used with ground-wood. Development Of A Program Of Art For Grades Four Through Six, Julia Eloise Oliver

Masters Theses

Chapter I

Introduction

Art in the elementary school encompasses all the fields of creative expression. There should be equal emphasis on dancing, music, poetry, drama, writing, painting, construction, and the crafts. Although these forms are usually worked with separately, the underlying purpose should always be the development of the children's creative power and not the perfection of any separate skill.1

Heightened Uncertainty And Determination: The “Trump Effect” And College Aspirations For Undocumented Students, Carolina Valdivia, Marisol Clark-Ibáñez, Lucas Schacht, Juan Duran, Sussana Mendoza

Journal of College Access

This article examines the educational experiences of undocumented high school students during the Trump administration—a time marked by the intensification and expansion of immigration enforcement practices. Drawing on 24 in-depth interviews, we find that undocumented high school students experienced increased instances of bullying near the time of the 2016 U.S. presidential elections.
