Comparing Effectiveness Of Antecedent, Consequence, And Combined Strategies On Teacher Treatment Integrity, Catherine E. Hines

Classroom management strategies are used to create effective learning environments by reducing problem behavior. When classroom management strategies are not being implemented correctly it can create negative outcomes for teachers and students. By providing antecedent and/or consequence-based procedures treatment integrity can be improved. The purpose of this review was to examine literature on the effectiveness of antecedent, consequence, and combined procedures on teacher treatment integrity of classroom management strategies. Results indicate a significant increase on teacher adherence to classroom management interventions when a treatment integrity procedure is implemented as well. Limitations and future directions are discussed.

The purpose of this study is to examine the if the standard error of estimate (SEE) is more effective than the standard error of measurement (SEM) when used in the construction of use the standard error of the difference (SED)-based bandwidths. It was hypothesized that the standard error of estimate would be a more effective equation to use than the standard error or measurement because it allows for the estimation of a range of true scores around an observed score instead of the opposite scenario. The purpose of this study was to compare a periodized versus a non- periodized protocol of kettlebell (KTB) swings over six weeks on strength, power, and muscular endurance. Twenty-eight high intensity functional training (HIFT) practitioners were assigned to non- periodized (NPG = 11), periodized (PG = 11), or control groups (CG = 6). Variations of the deadlift can be executed using the hexagonal (hex) bar by altering, for instance, the knee and torso angles while maintaining a constant hip angle at the start position. PURPOSE: To examine muscle activation patterns of the biceps femoris, rectus femoris, and erector spinae during three deadlift variations using the hex bar. The purpose of this study was to analyse the relationship between external load metrics with game performance for Division I collegiate female lacrosse. Data were collected using microtechnology during 26 games with 13 athletes (attackers n = 5, midfielders n = 8). External load variables included: total distance (TD), distance rate (DR), high-intensity (HI) distance, speed, HI sprints, accelerations, decelerations, metabolic equivalent distance (MED), and sprints. The effect of a pre-workout supplement on anaerobic power output and muscular fatigue was examined. 18 participants took part in this double-blinded crossover study, reporting for testing on 3 occasions. Participants completed a 6x6 second repeated sprint test, with 20s recovery between sprints. Anaerobic power output was recorded as the highest power achieved during sprint test. Muscular fatigue was reported as a fatigue index across the six sprints ((maximum power – minimum power) ÷ total sprint time). The genocide of the Herero tribe in German Southwest Africa illuminates the horrors of colonialism broadly and of German settler colonialism more specifically. I contend that the perpetrators of this event can be separated into two broad subgroups, the Old Africans and the Metropole Soldiers, distinguished by their intentions, exploitative and exterminatory respectively, concerning the indigenous tribes. Those intentions were formed over varying lengths of time but are the result of either firsthand experience with the racial hierarchy in the colony or relying on information and misinformation relayed to the metropole. The purpose of this quantitative descriptive research was to gain the perspective of educators on transition planning for students with disabilities in two public school districts in the state of Kentucky. The Individual Disabilities Education Act and Workforce Innovation Opportunities Act are laws requiring students with disabilities to be transition ready upon their graduation from high school. A sample of 12 educators, representing two Kentucky districts, who participate in transitioning students with disabilities, completed The Secondary Educator Transition Questionnaire survey.
