Cubans have been accused of doing things they have not done and an article was submitted asking for it to stop. The Spanish poet, Manuel Serafin Pichardo, wrote a poem exclusively for this issue of El Audaz. It is featured on the fourth page. They described a new flotation device invented by Dr. Timborli that included a small motor and a first aid kit.

By analysing the hydrographs of karst springs it is possible to identify aquifer characteristics and, accordingly, the main features of a karst rock-fissure massif. Consequently, relevant data can be obtained by analysing hydrograph recession curves. This paper presents a detailed analysis and explanation of numerous cases of break points on recession curves via various values of the recession coefficient α in Maillet's (1905) equation. The paper also identifies the relationship between α and a linear reservoir coefficient by employing groundwater hydrograph methods.
