Multidimensional Analysis Of Student Loyalty Using The Neutrosophic Biplot Method For Retention Strategies In Higher Education, Claudio Ruff, Marcelo Ruiz, Alexis Matheu, Bastián Gutiérrez, Luis Benites, Gerardo Anabalón
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
Student loyalty in higher education represents a critical challenge for universities, particularly in the context of increasing competition and the need to ensure long-term retention. A key question arises: how can student loyalty be modeled when it is shaped by diverse and subjective perceptions? The relevance of this issue lies in its impact on institutional stability: when students withdraw before completing their programs, universities not only lose projected revenue but also face disruptions that may negatively influence academic rankings. Previous literature has explored drivers of satisfaction and determinants of loyalty; however, little attention has been given to approaches that explicitly …

In recent years, Guayaquil fell prey to higher levels of organized extortion compared to territorialized criminal organizations over territory, institutional weaknesses, and socio-spatial inequalities. Thus, while extortion emerged as an increasingly specialized crime, there are limited empirical studies to evaluate the crime's spatiotemporal nature or its determinants. Therefore, this study aims to identify and characterize extortion "criminal severity zones" of Guayaquil from 2021-2024, via a novel geostatistical approach, in addition to the Neutrosophic Analytic Hierarchy Process (NAHP). By implementing Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis (ESDA), Kernel Density Estimation (KDE), dimensionality reduction techniques (PCA, MDS, and t-SNE), hierarchical clustering, and Bayesian hierarchical …
Identification Of Gaps In Ecuadorian Inclusive University Education Through Plithogenic Offsets, Genesis Carmen Alcívar Junco
Identification Of Gaps In Ecuadorian Inclusive University Education Through Plithogenic Offsets, Genesis Carmen Alcívar Junco
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
Although Ecuador has made strides in regulation, the barriers to inclusive universities reveal a fragmented vision for access and non-termination of special educational needs (SEN) persons. This research aims to assess the impact of physical, academic, and political-institutional barriers on successful inclusion. The importance of this study stems from the need to promote equality in education, a fundamental trait in equitable and fair societies where an increasingly diverse population renders diversity a value. Scholars note barriers regarding spaces and human resources; however, few touch upon the ambiguity and uncertainty of perceptions from all educational stakeholders. Thus, a mixed-method design approach …

This study addresses the phenomenon of prioritization of risks during large-scale audits as risks evident in the complicated environment and uncertain information are challenging to mitigate. The importance of the topic is that for complicated entities with high uncertainty, high impact, and low/high probability of audit detection, proper allocation in this resource sensitive 21st century is needed for effective audit. The literature demonstrates means to assess and rank risk for subsequent corrective actions that traditional statistical methods cannot capture. The developed hybrid model combines Random Forest, fuzzy logic, and neutrosophic logic are used to process homicide data, demographic variables, and …

This research constructs aims to address a current pedagogical issue in art teaching—what are the most effective and efficient interdisciplinary interdisciplinary methodological combinations for development of art drawing from a text based on understanding the text. This is a current problem of pedagogical practice as it applies to today's classrooms because the simultaneous combination of linguistic and artistic, expressive capabilities will help cultivate the diversification of creative and critical thinking processes. This problem is not extensively explored within the literature—but noted gaps and inadequacies suggest that such an interdisciplinary approach has not been assessed, especially since few researchers seek to …

Designing Optimal Routes For Mobile Prenatal Care Clinics Using Neutrosophic Cognitive Maps, Mónica Gabriela Chachalo Sandoval, Evelyn Paulina Chacha Ochoa
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
This manuscript examines the routing of mobile prenatal clinics in Ecuador, focusing on maternal and infant health in vulnerable, hard-to-reach areas. This assessment is significant because even with new developments geographically expanding access to mobile prenatal clinics, there remain accessibility gaps for vulnerable women located in hard-to-reach, topographic regions where it's uncertain if they truly need services or can assess whether they can travel to a clinic. While previous studies sought to assess the potential for newly mobile units and coverage, few studies have been found to assess new routes through accessibility uncertainty and villages with varying demand for access …

Faim: Fuzzy‑Neutrosophic Academic Integrity Model For University Students, Elsy Rodriguez Revelo, Lorenzo Cevallos Torres
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
The FAIM (Fuzzy-Neutrosophic Academic Integrity Model) is a novel approach developed to assess academic integrity among university students under conditions of uncertainty. This model emerged as a response to the challenges posed by the sudden shift from face-to-face to virtual education during the COVID-19 pandemic. This environment saw a notable increase in dishonest academic behavior. FAIM integrates fuzzy logic and neutrosophic reasoning to capture the complexity and indeterminacy of students’ conduct. Key variables associated with academic dishonesty—motivation, justification, and opportunities—were examined across three simulated scenarios. The results validated FAIM’s capacity to differentiate integrity levels within the student population effectively. Unlike …

This special issue presents the advances and applications of neutrosophy in artificial intelligence, stemming from the joint conferences organized by BARNA Management School and the Universidad del Trabajo del Uruguay in August 2025. The volume explores how neutrosophy—conceived by Dr. Florentin Smarandache—integrates truth, falsehood, and indeterminacy to address the complexity of reasoning in uncertain contexts. It highlights the potential of neutrosophic logic to overcome the limitations of current AI systems, which often struggle with incomplete or contradictory information. The issue also emphasizes the importance of critical thinking as a human strength in the age of intelligent machines and incorporates a …
Multicriteria Prioritization Of Geospatial Data Sources Using The Neutrosophic Hierarchical Analytic Process In Spatial Ontologies, Manuel Enrique Puebla Martínez
Multicriteria Prioritization Of Geospatial Data Sources Using The Neutrosophic Hierarchical Analytic Process In Spatial Ontologies, Manuel Enrique Puebla Martínez
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
The need for an automatic fusion of heterogeneous, generally untrustworthy geospatial sources into spatial ontologies necessitates prioritization when conflicts arise or lower qualities emerge. Unfortunately, most existing literature does not offer systematic, evaluative, analytical criteria for determining the trustworthiness and polyhedral quality of such sources, which, in turn, causes quality deficiencies in spatial relations of the final product. Here we offer a methodology based on the Neutrosophic Hierarchical Analytic Process to derive the aforementioned prioritization including considerations such as geometric accuracy, existence and accessibility of metadata, frequency of updates, and topological correctness. A calibrated, reliability-testing approach was applied to two …

A Visual Aid-Based Model For Constructing The Concept Of Probability For Students Aged 9 To 11, Validated Using Neutrosophic Plithogenic Statistics, Nela Del Rocío Sánchez López, Diana Carolina Pérez Duarte, Luis Fernando Pérez Duarte
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
This article discusses a research endeavor whose intent was to further develop statistical reasoning by formulating probability notions for 9-11-year-old learners. The probability endeavor is formulated through a union of narrative, problem-solving and visual approaches. Action research allowed for formulation and implementation within a school setting, satisfactorily proving success in developing learners' abilities to think logically and critically. Results indicate a statistically significant probability of appropriating the notion of probability based on neutrosophic plithogenic statistics which assessed the degree of truth, indeterminacy, and falsity of student answers which ultimately promote rational decisions in uncertain situations. It's recommended that the union …

A Neutrosophic Random Forest Approach For Preeclamptic Risk Prediction With Uncertainty Quantification, Franklin Parrales-Bravo, Rosangela Caicedo-Quiroz, Lorenzo Cevallos-Torres, Leonel Vasquez-Cevallos, Dayron Rumbaut-Rangel
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
This study presents a novel integration of Random Forest with neutrosophic logic to improve preeclampsia risk prediction while quantifying prediction uncertainty. Using clinical data from 352 patients, the model achieved 72.73% accuracy with high sensitivity (0.898) in identifying control cases, though with lower specificity (0.235) for preeclampsia detection. Key predictors identified were birthweight and hypertension his- tory, aligning with clinical knowledge. The neutrosophic framework successfully categorized predictions into truth (T), indeterminacy (I), and falsity (F) components, revealing that 90% confidence predictions showed T = 0.9 while uncertain cases (0.5 ≤ p < 0.9) demonstrated elevated indeterminacy (I = 0.3). The main contributions include: 1) an interpretable uncertainty quantification method for clinical predictions, 2) validation of key risk factors through feature importance analysis, and 3) a practical framework for identifying cases requiring additional clinical evaluation. This approach demonstrates significant potential for enhancing decision-making in maternal healthcare.

Neutrosophic Plithogenic Hypotheses On Bacterial Resistance To Conventional And Laser-Assisted Treatments, Emma Arroyo Lalama, Edison Haro Pujos
Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
Enterococcus faecalis is a common endodontic pathogen that causes unsuccessful treatments because standard methods of debridement cannot remove it from the root canal system. Methods of debridement are effective relative to debriding multifactorial bacterial biofilms in apical pathogens. Therefore, neutrosophic plithogenic hypotheses are proposed to measure the uncertainty and variability of the bacterial response. Therefore, this work attempted to determine the impact of laser treatment (diode and Er:YAG) as an adjunct agent relative to and in conjunction with traditional irrigants in the reduction of E. faecalis. The diode and Er:YAG laser support increased disinfection efficacy over standard irrigants as they …

This study intends to analyze the impact of not appearing as a legal consequence of the Ecuadorian oral system; in what way does it violate rights of the parties and the possibility of effective judicial protection? The study was developed through a mixed methodology, bibliographic-documentary design and empirical field study. Ultimately, Multineutrosophic modeling was used to limit uncertainty brought forth by establishing not appearing as a condition with lawyer presence, granted extensions or not, socioeconomic problems, etc., through a triangulation of findings from regulatory sources like the General Organic Code of Procedures (COGEP) and professionalizing interviews with judicial actors. This question builds upon the issue of Ecuador's minors not being liable as growing juvenile delinquents and those between 16-18 not receiving punishment for their actions will only foster more juvenile delinquents and complicate public safety and socio-protective efforts. This question is increasingly urgent given the recent upsurge in juvenile delinquency—grave crimes—and the vulnerable balance that exists between juvenile rights and social equity. While the literature is rich regarding the phenomenon of juvenile crime and delinquency, very few offer a truly feasible methodology that integrates equity, punishment, and social responsibility given the assessed social reality. Therefore, the neutrosophic TOPSIS method …

This dissertation fills a gap by assessing what aspects pollute the Chibunga River of Riobamba, Ecuador, which is becoming increasingly polluted. Pollution is a growing source of concern for ecosystems and human health, so assessing what factors is important. Applicable to an increasingly querulous society where river pollution has led to legal ramifications in Ecuador's Monjas and Machángara Rivers, creating a need for more protections and preventative measures makes this study relevant. The literature review cites established studies that have assessed river pollution occurrences similar to the Chibunga River. Still, none have assessed the concern via a truly indeterminate/incomplete approach …

Neutrosophic Sets and Systems
This research answers the need to evaluate an architectural space from a non-technical standpoint relative to its symbolism/emotion charge that is not taken into account by the design/planning of such public spaces. This research problem is sociologically relevant as today; architecture does not only dictate the layout of the physical world but also the group existence, sensitivity to experiences and modes of social appropriation. Yet the state-of- the-art literature provides purely professional and empirical avenues of investigation driven by economic/aesthetic value with no pathway for understanding appreciation of ambiguity and the multiple perspectives at play. Thus, a Neutrosophic Technarrative Model …
