New Englanders Oppose Iran Attack, Split On Assassination Of Khamenei 3/4/2026, Unh Survey Center
All UNH Survey Center Polls
Majorities in all six New England states oppose recent attacks on Iran by the United States and most believe President Trump should have asked for Congressional approval before conducting the strikes. However, many believe that the Iranian nuclear program represented a serious threat to the United States before the conflict began. New Englanders are divided on the decision to assassinate Ayatollah Ali Khamenei but generally oppose similar assassinations of political figures during armed conflicts.

The Joy Above All Joys: Roland D. Sawyer’S Socialism For The Working Class, Maggie R. Buglino
The Joy Above All Joys: Roland D. Sawyer’S Socialism For The Working Class, Maggie R. Buglino
Roland D. Sawyer Scholarship Papers
Following the Industrial Revolution, Americans were required to adapt to the nation's new capitalistic society. Witnessing the subsequent struggle of working-class families, 20th century Christian socialist Roland D. Sawyer was resolved to advocate for a reformed economic structure. This paper is dependent entirely on primary sources in the Roland D. Sawyer Collection, available in the University of New Hampshire's Milne Special Collections. Studying Sawyer's autobiography and various socialist writings illustrates his idea of a good life for the American working-class and how they were to achieve it through the adoption of a socialist doctrine. All Six New England States Gain Population, But Demographic Basis Of Gain Varies, Kenneth M. Johnson
All Six New England States Gain Population, But Demographic Basis Of Gain Varies, Kenneth M. Johnson
Carsey Publications
In this brief, author Kenneth Johnson reports that New England’s population grew by 310,000 between the 2020 Census in April 2020 and July 2025 and now stands at 15,432,000, according to new Census Bureau estimates. International immigration accounted for the entire population gain, offsetting an excess of deaths over births and an outflow of domestic migrants to other U.S. destinations from New England.
All six New England states have gained population since 2020, but the source of growth varied. Maine and New Hampshire had the largest population gains in the region. Most of their gains were due to an influx …
