Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Suspended Solids, And Dissolved Organic Carbon Concentrations In Tributaries To The Great Bay Estuary From 2020-2023, Michelle Daley Shattuck, Trevor Mattera, Chris Whitney

Nitrogen, phosphorus, and sediment loads to the Great Bay Estuary are a constant concern. The Piscataqua Region Estuaries Partnership (PREP) calculates the nitrogen load from tributaries to the Great Bay Estuary for its State of Our Estuaries reports. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to collect monthly data on nitrogen, phosphorus, and suspended solids concentrations in tributaries to the Great Bay Estuary in 2020-2023. The study design followed the tributary sampling design, which was implemented by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) between 2001 and 2007 and sustained by the University of New Hampshire (UNH) from 2008 …

Unh Healthcare Vitals: Health Insurance Premiums Are Skyrocking For 2026-- Why?, Lucy Hodder

Health insurance premiums and out-of-pocket costs in New Hampshire are projected to rise sharply in 2026 due to expiring federal subsidies, escalating prescription drug prices, hospital consolidation, workforce shortages, and policy changes. Without intervention, affordability will worsen for individuals and employers, with significant impacts on coverage and access. The report outlines policy recommendations to help mitigate these challenges for Granite Staters.

Drought can reduce productivity and resource availability below ground, with lasting effects on biogeochemical function. We hypothesize that mycorrhizal fungi support resilience to drought by facilitating microbial access to recent photosynthate carbon (C). We employed 13CO2 labeling chambers and stable isotope probing to investigate how the common arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus Rhizophagus irregularis influences C dynamics in soils planted with the bioenergy grass model Panicum hallii. After eight weeks, water limitation resulted in an increase in both the total quantity of recent photosynthate C that accrued in the rhizosphere and in the quantity of photosynthate C assimilated by rhizosphere bacteria. Export compliance is becoming increasingly important for parties required to abide by U.S. law, including many online sellers of consumer products. These retailers' contractual terms with their customers set forth a number of provisions governing the relationship between them, including those which deal with arbitration, indemnification, disclaimer of warranties, and other issues. Many such agreements also purport to create obligations on the part of the consumer as to export control and sanctions compliance relative to the products they purchase. These contract provisions attempt to do so, however, in often markedly different ways, and with language that may leave notable gaps …
