Maine Democratic Primary Voters Want Jackson As Senate Nominee, In Close Race With Collins In General 7/21/2026, Unh Survey Center
Maine Democratic Primary Voters Want Jackson As Senate Nominee, In Close Race With Collins In General 7/21/2026, Unh Survey Center
All UNH Survey Center Polls
Over half of recent Democratic primary voters prefer Troy Jackson as the Democratic nominee for Senate. Most Democratic primary voters believe Graham Platner's withdrawal from the race was the right decision. Jackson and incumbent Republican Senator Susan Collins are statistically tied in a November election matchup. Collins earns high marks from Mainers on bringing federal dollars to the state during her tenure in office but receives lower ratings on her votes on key legislation, Cabinet nominees, and Supreme Court justices. In Maine's election for governor, Democratic nominee Hannah Pingree holds a double-digit lead over Republican Bobby Charles. Amid questions about …

Vermont Divided On Scott's Job Performance As Vt Dems Undecided On Candidate To Face Him 7/21/2026, Unh Survey Center
All UNH Survey Center Polls
Vermont Governor Phil Scott’s job approval ratings have declined in recent months, but he still leads his two potential Democratic challengers in the November election. A majority of likely Democratic primary voters are undecided about which Democratic candidate for governor they prefer, with progressives and socialists slightly favoring Amanda Janoo and moderates and liberals slightly favoring Aly Richards. Former Lieutenant Governor Molly Gray continues to lead the Democratic field to take on incumbent Republican John Rodgers. Gray and two other Democratic candidates lead Rodgers in prospective general election matchups. Gerald Malloy has built a clear lead over fellow Republican Mark …

Leadership In Higher Education Amid Demographic Shifts: Implications Of Campus Event Management, Marrissa J. Williams
M.S. in Leadership
This study focuses on how demographic shifts within higher education have influenced leadership practices, specifically within enrollment management and campus event programming. As student populations become increasingly diverse, institutions are challenged to change their recruitment, engagement, and support strategies to meet the needs of first-generation, low-income, and non-traditional learners. The research explores the role of leadership in shaping these responses, with a focus on how decisions related to admissions events, like campus visits, outreach initiatives, and multicultural programming, have contributed to student engagement and enrollment outcomes. Using a qualitative approach grounded in the analysis of peer-reviewed articles and case studies, …

Most Bay Staters Believe Police Concealed Evidence In Read Case & Police Conduct Is Evidence Of Wider Problem 7/1/2026, Unh Survey Center
All UNH Survey Center Polls
In the Karen Read case, majorities of Bay Staters believe police concealed evidence in the case and believe police conduct is indicative of a wider problem with policing in Massachusetts. Generally speaking, pluralities of Massachusetts residents believe state and local police in the commonwealth do a good job protecting people from crime, treating racial and ethnic groups equally, and using the right amount of force, but four in ten believe police do a poor job holding officers responsible when misconduct occurs. Nearly all Massachusetts residents feel comfortable calling 911 when needed.
