From Fables to Facts: Discovering the World Through Stories and Science examines the integration of narrative storytelling and hands-on scientific exploration as a means of cultivating environmental literacy, ethical reflection, and sustained engagement with the natural world. Grounded in environmental philosophy, aesthetics, and ethics, the project draws on theoretical insights from Holmes Rolston III, Marcia Muelder Eaton, Allen Carlson, Arnold Berleant, and C. Thi Nguyen to develop a multidimensional model of education that unites imagination, cognition, and participatory experience. 2024-25 capabilities AI in music does not equal the quality of high-level human practitioners of composition, performance, pedagogy, and sound engineering (though certain tasks are commonly transferred to AI). The reasons include the complexity of the music (composition), and the logistics of the profession (performance, pedagogy). However, there are already professions being displaced by AI in the music industry, primarily in sound engineering, or in composition projects for simpler tasks such as repetitive gaming music. It is likely that AI will over time, and with augmented capabilities, increasingly insert itself into almost every part of the chain in commercial music …

The disAbility Resource Center of the Rappahannock Area, Inc (dRC) is a Center for Independent Living (CIL) that provides services that promote independence, advocacy, and leadership among the people with disabilities they serve. dRC focuses on disability-led services and programs to meet consumers' needs, with an extraordinary level of peer support. RTC:Rural researchers explore dRC's peer mentoring and peer support groups through the Rural Community Living Development project.

“I Now Have The Freedom To Do What I Want, When I Want, Like Anybody Else”: The Impact, Creation, And Management Of Transportation Voucher Programs, Luke Santore, Andrew Myers
Independent Living and Community Participation
Poor access to transportation is associated with negative results in life outcomes such as health, quality of life, employment, and community participation. Rural people with disabilities are particularly vulnerable to poor transportation access. Transportation voucher programs are an effective but underutilized resource that addresses transportation for rural people with disabilities. In this factsheet, RTC:Rural researchers explore how Center for Independent Living (CIL) staff establish and manage voucher programs, and illustrate how vouchers affected the people with disabilities who have used them.

This report details the wetland and riparian mapping methodologies implemented for the South-central Utah project. The project area consists of 120 1:24,000 US Geological Survey (USGS) quads across Southern Utah, with quads in Kane, San Juan, Garfield County, Grand, Emery, and Sevier counties.
