Interactive Storybook Reading Through Preschool Collaborations To Improve Literacy And Academic Readiness, Maria Ann Begger

University of Montana Conference on Undergraduate Research (UMCUR)

On The Complexity Of Conceptual Animal Metaphors In Queer Speech, Jarrett Hopewell Feb 2020

On The Complexity Of Conceptual Animal Metaphors In Queer Speech, Jarrett Hopewell

In other words, the different “tribes” of queer community members are conceptually understood in terms of animals.

Departing from Samardžić (2015), the present author proposes …

Buried In Silence: Homosexuality And The Feighner Criteria, Stewart Justman

Global Humanities and Religions Faculty Publications

The diagnostic revolution that culminated in the third edition of the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (1980) began with the publication in 1972 of the Feighner criteria, a set of rules for the identification of 16 disorders. While Feighner et al. claim that their diagnostic categories rest on solid data, the fact is that one was soon to be removed by the APA from its classification of mental disorders: homosexuality.
