Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) continues to be a serious public health concern, impacting nearly affecting diverse communities worldwide. Approximately one in three men experience sexual violence, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime.1 Men who have sex with men (MSM) are a particularly vulnerable population, facing unique challenges in the context of both IPV and HIV prevention. MSM experience disproportionately high rates of IPV and remain at an elevated risk of HIV transmission, making them a critical target group for research and intervention efforts.2,3 In recent decades, significant strides have been made in advancing the understanding …

Human Anatomy and Physiology courses are packed with substantial information to obtain and retain over a semester. Study techniques students integrate into their studies are indispensable in affecting their success or failure in Human Anatomy and Physiology courses. This study aimed to determine if using drawing as a study technique would positively or negatively impact students' success or failure rate in Human Anatomy and Physiology I (A&P I) at the University of Mississippi. Participants were divided into three groups based on the degree of participation. Group A students chose only to release their unidentified test scores. Group B students released …

Lonnie Burt recently retired as the Senior Food & Child Nutrition Services Director for the Hartford Public Schools where she oversaw the school meal program, including Breakfast, Lunch, Afterschool Snacks, At-Risk Supper, Summer Feeding and the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program Grant. She has worked in Child Nutrition for the nearly 35 years and has been in Hartford since 2004. Lonnie also works as an Adjunct Professor for Manchester Community College where she teaches classes in Nutrition, Human Resources, and Food Service Safety and Sanitation for the Hospitality Program.
