Letter sent from M.P. Courser to Ira Colby from the San Juan Hotel dated January 12, 1888, along with stamped envelope addressed to Ira Colby, Claremount N.H. M.P. Courser was the proprietor of the San Juan Hotel, Orlando, Florida and Ira Colby was a lawyer in Claremont N.H. who was possibly retained by M.P. Courser. The body of the letter refers to a lawsuit brought by a Mr. Flagg, which has been dropped. The postscript notifies Mr. Colby that the San Juan has opened for business. Kuchler, plumber; Magnolia Grocery, wholesale grocer; and H. Drew and Bro., book publisher and retailer.
