Pegasus Plans: Social Studies Unit Plans for Florida Teachers
During this unit, students will learn about Native American tribes in Florida. To enhance student knowledge, teachers will either facilitate a virtual tour of the “First Peoples” Exhibit at the Orange County Regional History Center that was created by the pre-service teacher authors or organize a First Floridians field trip to the Orange County Regional History for their students. Using a variety of reading materials and resources, students will explore and compare various cultural aspects of the Timucua, Calusa, and Seminole tribes. Assessment and Advocacy: Using Project Outcome for Academic Libraries is a collection of case studies to mark the fifth’s anniversary of Project Outcome and share how various institutions have utilized the toolkit to improve their services. This chapter provides details on a cross-institutional study conducted at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and Seminole State College of Florida, the second largest feeder school of transfer students to UCF. During the Spring 2022 semester, students in English composition II courses are both institutions completed the Project Outcome immediate instruction survey. Zork Reimagined: Interactive Fiction In The Age Of Ai, Aleksey Tikhonov

Classic interactive fiction has unique charm but faces known limitations; early IF games have complex user interfaces that are not intuitive for new players. They also often fail to understand user commands, leading to immersion-breaking default responses. Modern neural network-based games offer more flexibility but suffer from hallucinations, incoherence, and lack of overarching story structures. To address these issues, we propose a system that combines the strengths of both classic and modern approaches. It transforms the classic game Zork (Blank et al., 1979) into smoother narration with a controllable literary style while preserving the original plot and game logic. It …
