In July 1988, Harrison Price Company completed an analysis of the feasibility of developing a world class oceanarium in Fukuoka, Kyushu, Japan. The findings were strongly positive and it was concluded that operating profits would support an order of magnitude investment of $300 million, which in turn, would be sufficient to construct the finest marine life park in the world. The study concluded that the next steps to be taken in the implementation process would be: 1) Refinement and development of the attractions and exhibit content of the proposed park as a prelude to design development, 2) Preparation of design …

Ethics In Educational Theatre: Who Is Tending The House?, Joe Filippo
Association for Communication Administration Bulletin
This article examines ethical issues in educational theatre, distinguishing between substantial ethics, which concern the subject matter of plays, and procedural ethics, which address production practices. It considers the director’s role in balancing personal values, institutional goals, and audience expectations when selecting and staging works, noting tensions between reflecting societal values and advocating for specific perspectives. Examples highlight conflicts arising from controversial material, textual alterations, and staging choices that challenge playwright intentions. Procedural concerns such as casting policies, fairness in opportunities, and the inclusion of non-students are also explored. Mainsel Investments Pty. Ltd., has proposed the development of a major leisure park attraction on property owned by the company in the Burleigh West area of Queensland's famous Gold Coast. To assist in defining an optimum content and scope for the leisure park component, Mainsel Investments retained Harrison Price Company to conduct a charrette, or “storyboard” conference, to establish preliminary conceptual and economic guidelines for the project.

The invention of the telephone and the telegraph opened the door to worldwide corrmunications. Over the years, complex and versatile corrmunication systems have evolved involving many devices and technologies. Switching protocols between switching offices have been established in accordance with the nature of the machines and with the capabilities of the transmission medium and its environment. Switching systems are now stored program oriented, providing a more generalized and digitally oriented internal switching capability.
