Novel Correlation Coefficients For Interval-Valued Fermatean Hesitant Fuzzy Sets With Pattern Recognition Application, İbrahi̇m Demi̇r

Turkish Journal of Mathematics

A combination of interval-valued Fermatean fuzzy sets with Fermatean hesitant fuzzy elements in the form of interval values is known as an interval-valued Fermatean hesitant fuzzy set. Since Fermatean hesitant fuzzy sets are effective instruments for representing more complex, ambiguous, and hazy information, interval-valued Fermatean hesitant fuzzy sets are expansions of these sets. This investigation will concentrate on four different types of correlation coefficients for Fermatean hesitant fuzzy sets and expand them to include correlation coefficients and weighted correlation coefficients for interval-valued Fermatean hesitant fuzzy sets. Finally, the numerical examples demonstrate the viability and usefulness of the suggested methodologies in …

On The Measure Of Noncompactness In $L_P(\Mathbb{R}^+)$ And Applications To A Product Of $N$-Integral Equations, Mohamed M. A. Metwali, Vishnu Narayan Mishra

Turkish Journal of Mathematics

In this article, we prove a new compactness criterion in the Lebesgue spaces $L_p({\mathbb{R}}^+), 1 \leq p < \infty$ and use such criteria to construct a measure of noncompactness in the mentioned spaces. The conjunction of that measure with the Hausdroff measure of noncompactness is proved on sets that are compact in finite measure. We apply such measure with a modified version of Darbo fixed point theorem in proving the existence of monotonic integrable solutions for a product of $n$-Hammerstein integral equations $n\geq 2$.

SEIR (which consists of susceptible, exposed, infected, and recovered states) is a common diffusion model which could model different disease propagation dynamics across various domains such as influenza and COVID diffusion. As a motivation, across these domains, observing the node states is relatively easier than observing the network edges over which the diffusion is taking place, or it may not even be possible to observe the underlying network. This paper focuses on the problem of predicting modular low-rank human contact network edges only if a SEIR diffusion dynamics spreading among the human on their contact network can be observed. Such …

Culex pipiens species complex is commonly found in tropical and subtropical areas. Identification of species complexes and their spatial distribution patterns are fundamental steps needed to improve our understanding of arboviral disease circulation and their control. The specimens were differentiated using the Ace-2 gene, and the ecological forms of Culex pipiens were identified by analysis of the CQ11 microsatellite locus. Results showed that all sample points comprised of Culex pipiens s.s., and seven points contained Culex torrentium. Further, we determined that 22 haplotypes from five haplogroups were identified within the Ace-2 marker, and three haplotypes were contained within the CQ11 …

This study investigated the feeding patterns of populations of Anopheles sacharovi, Culex tritaeniorhynchus, and Culex pipiens in the Mediterranean and Aegean regions of Turkey. Blood-fed females resting inside barns, houses, and chicken coops in the rural areas were collected between May 2017 and September 2019, and the genomic DNA from each female was isolated to determine the blood source after amplification of the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene region. Cytb results showed that out of 445 blood-fed An. sacharovi females 2 blood-fed from dogs, 9 from birds, and 434 from cows. The results also showed that all 216 blood-fed females Cx. …

Tuberculosis (TB) is still one of the most common infectious diseases around the world despite the widespread use of BCG (bacille Calmette-Guerin) strain of Mycobacterium bovis as a vaccine. This vaccine does not always protect people from TB, and, thus, new effective vaccines or vaccination strategies are being investigated. In this study, alkyl hydroperoxide reductase (AhpC) from M. bovis was evaluated as a new candidate vaccine antigen against TB in BALB/c mice model. The ahpC gene was amplified from M.bovis genome, cloned, and expressed in Escherichia coli. Vaccine antigen AhpC was formulated with Montanide ISA 61 VG, an oil-based emulsion …
