Access to reliable information in times of emergency is important. However the quantum of information during emergency may cause infodemic. The study investigated the role of information literacy in mitigating infodemic in COVID 19 pandemic. A survey was conducted among educators and students in School of Mathematics and Computing (SOMAC), Kampala International University (KIU), Uganda. Purpose: In this study the prime focus was to study the web contents of the library websites of nine institutes of national importance of Karnataka. To examine information regarding introductory information about the library, collections, services, facilities, and Web 2.0 tools used in websites.

Design/ Methodology/ Approach: To analyse the websites, standard criteria were identified and framed the checklist based previous studies. The data was collected from selected websites through an online survey and observation techniques.

The sensitivity of the Australian Monsoon to changing climate boundary conditions remains controversial due to limited understanding of forcing processes and past variability. Here, we reconstruct austral summer monsoonal discharge and wind-driven winter productivity across the Middle Pleistocene Transition (MPT) in a sediment sequence drilled off NW Australia. We show that monsoonal precipitation and runoff primarily responded to precessional insolation forcing until ~0.95 Ma, but exhibited heightened sensitivity to ice volume and pCO₂ related feedbacks following intensification of glacial-interglacial cycles. Motivated primarily by the large uncertainties in the thermonuclear rate of the ³⁰P(p,γ)³¹S reaction that limit our understanding of classical novae, we carried out lifetime measurements of ³¹S excited states using the Doppler Shift Lifetimes (DSL2) facility at the TRIUMF Isotope Separator and Accelerator (ISAC-II) facility. The ³¹S excited states were populated by the ³He(³²S,α)³¹S reaction. This study aims to understand the perceptions and opinions of academicians towards ChatGPT-3 by collecting and analyzing social media comments, and a survey was conducted with library and information science professionals. The research uses a content analysis method and finds that while ChatGPT-3 can be a valuable tool for research and writing, it is not 100% accurate and should be cross-checked. The study also finds that while some academicians may not accept ChatGPT-3, most are starting to accept it. The study is beneficial for academicians, content developers, and librarians.

This paper explores how librarians from one US American library imagined their publics during the exceptional circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. By revisiting Habermas' positioning of the public sphere, this paper inquires librarians' own understanding of publics. Through the imagination of their publics after the buildings of the library closed in response to the pandemic, the librarians deepen our understanding of how publics are imagined, and thereby, how publics are made and how publicness is performed.
