Scientometrics is one of the leading peer-reviewed journals in the field of Library and Information Science (LIS). The present study is aimed to evaluate the salient characteristics of the 100 most-cited papers of Scientometrics. The bibliographic data of most cited papers were extracted from the Scopus database. The attributes of selected papers were analyzed by using Microsoft Excel, VOSviewer, and Biblioshiny software. These papers were published between 1979 and 2017. All papers gained citations with a mean ratio of 332.86 citations per paper and the range of citations varies from 155 to 3,222. These papers were contributed by 221authors, with …

It also provides a comparative evaluation and performance of different types of scientometric indicators, such as number of publications, number of citations and collaboration from India. Comparative Philosophy

This essay has three parts. The first moves from what artists confronted when China was first opened to the west in 1978 to what two classical Chinese critics and artists said art was and how it was to be made. The second looks at artists’ works made between two exhibitions in the United States, one in 1998, the other in 2017, to find an uncanny reprise of the classical principles. The third looks at the ideas of the global, contemporary, and art through the works of Peter Osborne and Arthur Danto that apply to the new art from China.

Objective: The purpose of the present research was to investigate the information seeking anxiety of postgraduate students its relationship with the thinking styles.

Methodology: This applied research was conducted through survey-descriptive method. The research population included 315 postgraduate students at The School of Allied Medial Sciences of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. The research samples consisted of 173 postgraduate students studying during 2015-2016 academic years. And it further deals about the repositories by country wise, organisation by country, type, content and languages and various software. The relevant data were collected from DOAR and totally 5268 repositories are available in World. It found that the among the 5268 repositories, 898 from United States of America and it is first position and Japan occupies the second position with 546. 1. The availability of compatible mutualistic soil microbes could influence the invasion success of non-native plant species. Specifically, there may be spatial variation in the distribution of compatible microbes, and species-specific variation in plant host ability to associate with available microbes. Although either or both factors could promote or limit invasion, the scale over which most studies are conducted makes it difficult to examine these two possibilities simultaneously. However, this is critical to identifying a role of soil microbes in invasion.

The study investigated the research publications of the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) during the period 2009-2018 as reflected in Web of Science database. The results show that 1694 papers were published and gained 20158 citations. The average number of citations per paper identified is 11.89%. Neuroscience Neurology, Psychiatry, and Surgery are the most preferred domains to publish the articles. The global collaboration of NIMHANS is mostly with the USA, England, and Australia. The main objective of this study is to investigate and analyze global research productivity in knowledge management (KM) research published from 1960 to 2017 and indexed in Scopus database. It is the first scientometric study investigating and analyzing 56 years of KM literature indexed in Scopus. The study used scientometric approach to identify and analyze bibliographic information of 63474 documents retrieved, in August 2018, from Scopus database. Bacteria coordinate cellular behaviors using a cell-cell communication system termed quorum sensing. In Vibrio harveyi, the master quorum sensing transcription factor LuxR directly regulates >100 genes in response to changes in population density. Here, we show that LuxR derepresses quorum sensing loci by competing with H-NS, a global transcriptional repressor that oligomerizes on DNA to form filaments and bridges. We first identified H-NS as a repressor of bioluminescence gene expression, for which LuxR is a required activator. In an hns deletion strain, LuxR is no longer necessary for transcription activation of the bioluminescence genes, suggesting that the primary role of …

This paper deals with the analysis of the 1353 contributions of the journal entitled ‘Journal of Ornithology’ published during 2000-2015. It examines the year-wise distribution of publications, Relative Growth Rate and Doubling time, authorship pattern, degree of colloboration, document-wise publication, language-wise publication, most productive authors and country-wise contributions etc. The study shows that majority of the contributions were contributed by three authors and country-wise distribution shows that majority of the papers were contributed from Germany. From top 10 ranked lists of authors, Wink, M (Institute of Pharmacy and Molecular Biotechnology, Heidelberg University, Germany) has contributed highest number of papers.

This mixed-methods study explored perceptions of the impact of marriage legalization in all U.S.states among sexual minority women and gender diverse individuals. Survey data were collectedfrom a nonprobability sample of individuals 18 years or older who identified as lesbian, bisexual,queer, same-sex attracted or something other than exclusively heterosexual—as well asindividuals who identified as transgender or gender nonbinary (for example, genderqueer, transwoman, trans man, nonbinary, or gender non-conforming). The analytic sample included 418participants in an online survey who responded to open-ended questions about the perceivedimpact of marriage legalization.
